Road pavements need adequate maintenance to ensure that their conditions are kept in a good state throughout their lifespans. For this to be possible, authorities need efficient and effective databases in place, which have up to date and relevant road condition information. International audience; Le modèle de recherche d'expériences de Holbrook et Hirschman a été présenté par ses auteurs comme un cadre conceptuel bien adapté à l'analyse des comportements dans le domaine culturel. Cette recherche analyse la capacité de variables explicatives des différences interindividuelles retenues par ce modèle à expliquer des différences dans les évocations affectives du théâtre par le public. La méthodologie mise en œuvre s'appuie sur l'analyse statistique de données textuelles recueillies auprès des différents segments de spectateurs.

Dans le cadre de cette contribution, la perte ou le renoncement aux etoiles du Guide Michelin de 19 chefs sont etudies a partir d’un corpus mediatique issu de la presse nationale ou de la presse regionale entre 1996 et 2019. L’analyse des discours tend a souligner les tensions qui traversent la restauration gastronomique et interroge egalement les modalites d’evaluation et de communication. Ce travail permet plus largement d’interroger la place et la nature de la critique gastronomique dans une ere de la transparence.

If access to employment deteriorates more for science graduates than for graduates in other disciplines, science graduates will have a distinct advantage in terms of earnings and employment status, when the economic situation becomes less favourable. [EN] This paper presents a new human happiness index built through five dimensions: development, freedom, solidarity, justice and peace. These five dimensions are evaluated through quantitative variables obtained from the Human Development Reports, World Data Bank and Eurostat. The new happiness index has been built following the guidelines set by the Human Development Reports of the UN for the construction of quality indices, and it has been compared on a set of 13 EU countries with the Overall Life Satisfaction Index, which is used by the UN. Does Patriotic Vigilance Make Any Sense in the Transnational Arena? A Cosmopolitan Alternative to the Globalization Paradox

We address the issue of the relevance in the transnational arena of the concept of patriotic vigilance, as expressed by French Minister Arnaud Montebourg in 2014. Firstly, we examine the globalization paradox with its underpinnings in the literature and its illustration through the recent Alstom saga. Secondly, we review the idea of a paradigm shift in world monetary affairs signaled by the recent crisis. Finally, drawing on Kant’s ideas on cosmopolitism, we sketch out an alternative to the globalization paradox.
