In the congress organised by Marilena Casella and Lietta De Salvo with the support of the Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti, moments and themes of Roman history of great importance are presented and retraced, in relation to which the interest of the contributions of the speakers is twofold: the angle of observation is in fact placed both on the topics as such, for the weight they had in the history of a civilisation, and on their reception and reworking, which makes it possible to speak of an era that is reflected in other eras, of events that integrate their meaning by handing it down to subsequent generations and contexts, maintaining their vitality.

Nowadays, a significant part of cities is tackling the problems with post-mining areas. This manuscript is an original research which shows possibilities of their reclamation. The aim of the article is to present the proposal of developing the closed limestone quarry and creating a botanical garden. The proposed spatial solutions allow for creating a new, tourist and recreation space, maintaining the natural heritage. Il saggio si preoccupa di ricostruire le ragioni ssenziali alla base della sentenza della Corte costituzionale n.49/2022 relativamente alla dichiarata inammissibilità della proposta referendaria in materia di responsabilità civile dei magistrati. In particolare l'Autore ricostruisce: il tema generale e transnazionale della responsabilità giudiziale; la via referendaria già battuta in materia di responsabilità giudiziale; i termini del quesito referendario e La diffusa risposta negativa sull’ammissibilità del quesito da parte della Corte Costituzionale. Increasing the flexural capacity of RC beams using steel angles and pre-tensioned stainless steel ribbons

This article presents an experimental programme on reinforced concrete beams retrofitted with steel angles and pre-stressed stainless steel ribbons to increase their flexural strength and ductility. Two different configurations of the steel ribbon were designed, and two companion specimens for each type considered were subjected to a four-point bending test to facilitate a direct comparison in the analysis of the effectiveness of the retrofitting technique. Fiber reinforced polymers (FRPs) are considered to be a promising alternative to steel reinforcement, especially in concrete structures subjected to an aggressive environment or to the effects of electromagnetic fields. After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered.
