OBJECTIVES: The U.L.I.S.S.E. study is aimed at describing older patients who are cared for in hospitals, home care or nursing homes in Italy. DESIGN: The U.L.I.S.S.E. study is an observational multicenter prospective 1-year study. SETTING: Overall, 23 acute geriatric or internal medicine hospital units, 11 home care services and 31 nursing homes participated in the study. MEASUREMENTS: The patient's evaluation was performed using comprehensive geriatric assessment instruments, i.e. the interRAI Minimum Data Set, while data on service characteristics were recorded using ad-hoc designed questionnaires. The article introduces the reader to the theory of Earth Jurisprudence through an analysis of the writings of Thomas Berry, Cormac Cullinan and Peter Burdon. After looking at the main revisions that the scholars of Earth Jurisprudence propose to the theory of law, the article recognizes the fact that they all move in the direction of natural law theories and questions the opportunity to take this path in order to change the relationship between human law and the environment.

Exploring its definition and its possible applications in practice, starting from the analysis of a social work case study within an international project, aims to encourage the consolidation of a flexible, inclusive and plural thinking and method, necessary both for social workers working abroad, or in international exchange projects, and for those working with foreign users, offering the opportunity to broaden horizons and at the same time to strengthen the roots of the profession.

International audience; The main objective of this article is to explain the evolution of the party system of the Valencian Community (Spain) between 1978 and 2015. We will start from a historical neo-institutionalist approach and a methodology focused on historical analysis (path dependence and critical junctures). It will be centered on the changes produced in political parties, in terms of the Valencian cartelization and identity and its present position.
