The engraving of València from the Primera parte de la crónica by Pere Antoni Beuter, originally published in 1546, is the first overview of the city as a whole. It includes a large number of constructions and features of València, configuring, in addition, the most characteristic point of view to represent the city: the northern. Its modernity has to be compared with other valencian and contemporary peninsular urban engravings. Its comparison with other images will help to understand better the meaning of such an important image for the city of València. OVERTURE Love Love is a Pink Cake or Queering Chopin in Times of Homophobia

An introduction to the three essays included in this section. The article highlights the right to know whether Chopin was gay and contextualizes this inquiry in a very long and pervasive historiographical tradition, essentially twohundred years long, dedicated to examine Chopin sexual orientation, on the one hand, and on the other the more recent tradition of queering western classical music composers. The main point is not to demonstrate categorically that Chopin was ?gay? (a relative, modern identity marker in any case) but rather to highlight the discourses that have presented him as unequivocally heterosexual.

In France, the university is experiencing the problem of failure, especially in the first cycle. This article aims to establish, in a chronological perspective, a literature review of the contributions of educational research in the French context, the various factors contributing to this failure. A methodology that permits testing the level of integration of the photovoltaic technology in urban areas is presented. The percentage of coverage of the electricity demand of grid-connected photovoltaic systems installed on the roofs of buildings were investigated in a district of the city of Palermo (Sicily). After classifying roofs according to their shape, orientation and pitch by means of satellite images provided by Google Earth, the ratio of the productivity of the PV systems and the consumption of electricity of the households was analysed.
