Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 59 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 24 attēlus, 3 tabulas un 85 literatūras atsauces. Pētījuma mērķis bija novērtēt miopijas kontroles ortokeratoloģijas lēcu formas un optiskās zonas platuma ietekmi uz miopijas progresijas mazināšanu. Darbā tika analizēti 12 bērnu ar augstu miopijas pakāpi ortokeratoloģijas rezultāti, iegūti kopā no 19 acīm. Tika salīdzinātas acs aksiālā garuma izmaiņas, bērniem nēsājot parastas ortokeratoloģijas lēcas un lietojot specializētās miopijas kontroles ortokeratoloģijas lēcas. Ecological intensification of agriculture is a paradigm shift, which has recently been proposed to meet such challenges through the manipulation of biotic interactions. While this approach opens up new possibilities, there are many constraints related to the complexity of agroecosystems that make it difficult to implement. Future advances, which are essential to guide agricultural policy, require an eco-evolutionary framework to ensure that ecological intensification is beneficial in the long term.

The control theory of driving suggests that driver distraction can be analyzed as a breakdown of control at three levels. Common approach for analyzing distraction experimentally is to utilize capacity-based measures to assess distraction at the level of operational control. Development and pilot-scale validation of a fuzzy-logic control system for optimization of methane production in fixed-bed reactors

International audience; The objective of this study was to develop an advanced control system for optimizing the performance of fixed-bed anaerobic reactors. The controller aimed at maximizing the bio-methane production whilst controlling the volatile fatty acids content in the effluent. For this purpose, a fuzzy-logic controller was developed, tuned and validated in an anaerobic fixed-bed reactor at pilot scale (350 L) treating raw winery wastewater.
