The psychological investigation of happiness has increased significantly in recent decades to the point of becoming one of the most researched behaviours in the new field of Positive Psychology. However, relatively little progress has been made in happiness research and tests to evaluate happiness, and the Oxford Happiness Inventory (OHI), built by Argyle, Martin and Crossland (1989), is among the best-known and most accredited. [EN] Socially responsible companies whose values are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) contribute to creating wealth and long-term economic and social value. This alignment leads to a competitive advantage based on the triple bottom line that enhances financial performance. In this paper, fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) is used to identify the configurations of conditions that lead to high or low financial performance (return on equity) for a sample of companies in the IBEX 35. Prendendo come motivo occasionale il settantesimo anniversario dalla pubblicazione di un fortunato volume di Bruno Snell (Die Entdeckung des Geistes)l'autore passa in rassegna le principali teorie su sé, anima e corpo nella Grecia antica apparse nell'ultimo cinquantennio. Il problema della mente (incarnata o disincarnata?) si intreccia strettamente , nel dibattito, al problema sulla presenza o assenza di un dualismo mente/corpo. Il problema trova, a giudizio dell'autore, soluzione a partire dalle più recenti teorie sull'intelletto attivo di Aristotele.
