Il saggio affronta il tema della struttura dell’obbligazione e sostiene l’idea che quest’ultima si caratterizzi per la diversità di contenuto dei suoi due elementi costitutivi: il debito e il credito. Tale diversità non implica, però, anche l’autonomia dei due elementi, i quali anzi trovano la loro sintesi nella dimensione del rapporto, che rappresenta, per l’appunto, la specificità dell’obbligazione rispetto ad altre figure. La tesis doctoral trata la eximente de obrar en el cumplimiento de un deber por las FCS desde un punto de vista eminentemente práctico. La elección del tema se debe a la importancia que posee esta causa de justificación para mi profesión como miembro de la Guardia Civil, que exige en que en determinadas actuaciones una lesión de un derecho fundamental (detenciones, registros domiciliarios, cacheos, etc), y que cobra mayor protagonismo en los casos en los que además, el agente se ve obligado a la utilización de fuerza o violencia para cumplir con la función. The article critically investigates the relationship between the issue of over-indebtedness and, in particular, that of discharge from bankruptcy, highlighting the problematic relationship with the debtor’s financial liability and the impact on the statute of the obligation. In this sense, the rule on discharge from bankruptcy is examined, stigmatizing both its linguistic inaccuracy and the disorientation it produces in the interpreters. The essay then emphasizes the difficulties encountered by the process of integration of such rule into the system. From this point of view, there is a genetic mutation of the obligation, whose original status is radically changed.

Lexical encapsulation consists of a series of abstract unspecific nouns (fact, plan...) referring to predicative antecedents. This study is based on a corpus of parliamentary debate in English, Catalan and Spanish (PD) and deals with encapsulation as a complex lexical cohesion device which allows the addressor to evaluate the information of the debates in various ways. Our work tries to highlight the role of lexical encapsulation to reflect the addressor’s positioning with respect to the topic discussed, and to establish whether there are outstanding cross-linguistic differences. Excessive Daytime Sleepiness and Sleep Disorders in a Population of Patients with Epilepsy: a Case-Control Study

Background and purpose There are several primary causes for excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) and sleep disorders in patients with epilepsy. Up to now, studies in the literature report conflicting data in terms of both prevalence and aetiology. The aim of our study was therefore to evaluate the prevalence of EDS and some sleep disorders in a population of patients with epilepsy treated with no more than two antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). We also investigated the role of the depression of mood as a variable that can negatively affect EDS.
