The objective is to offer a theoretical model to help conceptualize ethics and to clarify the characteristics and constraints of the different ethical theories. An integral ethical approach must include three dimensions: norms, good and virtue. It is argued that each of these dimensions stems from a comprehensive anthropology that deals with understanding human action. The article describes the principal aspects in terms of the pursuit of objectives, principles to be followed and virtues to be acquired. International audience; Cet article vise à déterminer, de façon empirique, l'influence des bibliothèques centres documentaires (B.C.D.), sur les acquis cognitifs au niveau du cours préparatoire. L'échantillon étudié est composé de 300 élèves répartis sur 15 classes de Chalon-sur-Saône. Le cadre analytique retenu a englobé les caractéristiques socio-démographiques (C.S.P., fratrie, sexe, âge, ...), et le niveau initial. En outre, afin d'isoler l'influence spécifique de la B.C.D., les acquis finaux des élèves ont été examinés. Abstract We show that the toroidal Lie group G = ℂ2/Λ, where Λ is the lattice generated by (1, 0), (0, 1) and (τ̂, τ͂), with τ̂ ∉ ℝ, is isomorphic to the generalized Jacobian JL of the complex elliptic curve C with modulus τ̂, defined by any divisor class L ≡ (M) + (N) of C fulfilling M − N = [℘ (τ͂) : ℘´(τ͂) : 1] ∈ C. This follows from an apparently new relation between the Weierstrass sigma and elliptic functions.
The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Health Care Professionals Burnout

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and burnout in health care professionals. More specifically, this survey has the purpose of demonstrating the role of EI as a protective factor against the risk of burnout. Health professionals (doctors, nurses, and other caregivers) composed the sample. Data, collected during professional training, provided 148 employees. Major results of this survey underline the relationship between EI and burnout. As we expected, there is a negative and significant correlation between burnout and Emotional Intelligence.
