The Bologna country court pronounces on the liability of a de facto car race organizer who delegated the setting up of event’s logistics to a third company. The case involved a driver who died after a crash during a rolling start procedure in which the green light was given by race director despite the car’s misalignment. The Court finds the race organizer liable for several reasons: firstly, for the track’s choice, in which there was an unprotected obstacle against which the driver crashed; secondly, according to art. 2049 of the Italian civil code, for the race director’s fault, who gave the green light notwithstanding car’s misalignment. The issue in question is the culinary heritage of Silesia, represented in the List of traditional products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (created in 2004). Basing on the example of wodzionka and other soups made of water and bread, the authors bring emphasis to some important issues associated with the description of selected traditional foods and kitchen products that lead to understatements and overinterpretations. The article proposes also a new definition of traditional dish, which takes into account two elements of a recipe (fixed and variable).

En este artículo se analiza la asociación establecida en el imaginario occidental entre danza oriental y la danza de Salomé, enmarcada en el Orientalismo producido por la expansión colonial europea. Para ello se han estudiado los fragmentos que se refieren a esta danza en las obras de Gustave Flaubert, “Herodias”, y Oscar Wilde, Salomé. Tras el estreno de esta última se desencadenó la Salomanía, moda que a comienzos del siglo XX popularizó las representaciones de la danza de Salomé tanto en teatro como en cine por su reclamo exótico y erótico. Upper Caraş River (Danube watershed) fish populations fragmentation – technical rehabilitation proposal

Abstract We propose a technical solution for fish movement based on the flow of water over a spill threshold. Such barriers are common in the Danube system. The proposed system has a range of operating components which are easily detachable from the spill threshold, are resistant to corrosion and will not harm the fish. In fact, if designed to complement swimming abilities of target fish, it should provide adequate passage for both adults and juveniles. If implemented correctly, the design may offer a solution to help displaced fish recolonize upstream habitats.
