Pytanie o „starą" i „nową" polonistykę szkolną jest wciąż aktualne. Pojawia się w wielu dyskusjach na temat polonistycznego kształcenia. Namysł nad nim prowadzi do kilku spostrzeżeń: uczenie literatury, uczenie odbioru tekstu zasadza się na wartościach stałych i niezbywalnych; jest procesem; stwarza czytelnika, ale przede wszystkim człowieka. Cele formacyjne są ważne i nie da się ich zastąpić modnymi hasłami, tak jak nie da się odejść od rozumnego czytania, odbioru tekstu. The process of envisioning the future is central to teachers’ identity construction, but different environments create distinct sociocultural conditions for the process. This qualitative study drawing on visual-textual methods compares Finnish and Brazilian student teachers’ desired and feared professional futures. Two different perspectives on future identities were detected: a desire for status and a desire for meaningfulness. The results revealed the radically different social status of teaching in the two countries and the role this played in the envisioned identities. In this study, we examine the prevalence of income and career concerns among emerging adults in three different welfare states during COVID-19: Finland ( n = 309), Sweden ( n = 324), and the United Kingdom ( n = 343). This study also delves into how factors such as one’s self-perceived financial situation, generalized mistrust, loneliness and socio-demographics are related to emerging adults’ income and career concerns. Results showed that individuals from the United Kingdom were more likely to experience increased income and career concerns than those in Finland and Sweden. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore Finnish adolescents’ subjective health literacy (HL) in association to school achievement, learning difficulties, educational aspirations, and family affluence. Design/methodology/approach Nationally representative data were collected in Finland as a part of the international Health Behaviour in School-aged Children study. The respondents consisted in total of 3,833 adolescents (7th and 9th graders) from 359 schools. Teacher emotional support in relation to social competence in preschool classrooms

The present study aimed to investigate the associations between teachers’ observed emotional support and social competence among Finnish pre-schoolers (6-year-olds). The quality of emotional support was observed using the Classroom Assessment Scoring System Pre-K in 47 preschool classrooms twice across the preschool year. Teachers rated children’s social competence in autumn and again in spring, using the Multisource Assessment of Social Competence Scale (MASCS), which produced sum scores for cooperating skills, empathy, impulsivity, and disruptiveness. This study investigated associations of early adolescents' (N=190, median age = 12) subjectively experienced emotions and psychophysiological reactions in achievement situations. Self-reported questions assessed adolescents' experienced emotions. Additionally, adolescents' autonomic nervous system (ANS) reactions were recorded; skin-conductance response (SCR) and heart rate (HR) were used to measure sympathetic nervous system activity, and heart rate variability (HRV) was used to measure parasympathetic nervous system activity. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας ήταν να διερευνηθούν οι επιδράσεις ορισμένων συμπεριφορών υγείας, όπως η άσκηση, το κάπνισμα και η κατανάλωση αλκοόλ στην ποιότητα ζωής ενηλίκων που βρίσκονται σε εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία. Το δείγμα της έρευνας ήταν 363 ενήλικες, (Μ.Ο. ηλικίας = 41.86, Τ.Α. = 11.42 έτη) που παρακολουθούσαν προγράμματα επιμόρφωσης, σε Κέντρο Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων (ΚΕΕ). Χρησιμοποι- ήθηκαν ερωτηματολόγια για να καταγραφούν το κάπνισμα σε καθημερινή βάση, η κατανάλωση αλκοόλ σε εβδομαδιαία βάση, καθώς και η φυσική δραστηριότητα.
