The commonly used Catalan lexicons (DCVB, DECLC, the vocabulary of Lluis Faraudo de Saint-Germain) collect words and give them meaning from ancient editions of texts. Lexicographers’ performance had its own logic: they used the documentary sources they had at their disposal when they set up to write their works. The advances in philological research (new critical editions, new sources of information) allow us to refine results and detect errors that occurred in old editions and went into dictionaries. Introduction. We aimed at carrying out a quantitative and qualitative analysis of claims for adverse events addressed to Palermo University Hospital Policlinico “Paolo Giaccone” in order to promote evidence-based interventions and increase patient safety. Methods. In recent years, the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus databases have become primary sources for conducting studies that evaluate scientific investigations. Such studies require that duplicate records be excluded to avoid errors of overrepresentation. In this line, we identify duplicate records in Scopus and examine their origins. Identifying journals with duplicate records in Scopus, selecting and downloading bibliographic journal records, and identifying and analyzing the duplicate records is the methodology adopted. Phase dynamics in graphene-based Josephson junctions in the presence of thermal and correlated fluctuations

In this work we study by numerical methods the phase dynamics in ballistic graphene-based short Josephson junctions. The supercurrent through a graphene junction shows a non-sinusoidal phase-dependence, unlike a conventional junction ruled by the well-known d.c. Josephson relation. A superconductor-graphene-superconductor system exhibits superconductive quantum metastable states similar to those present in normal current-biased JJs. We explore the effects of thermal and correlated fluctuations on the escape time from these metastable states, when the system is stimulated by an oscillating bias current. Sulfite oxidase is a mitochondria-located molybdenum-containing enzyme catalyzing the oxidation of sulfite to sulfate in the amino acid and lipid metabolism. Therefore, it plays a major role in detoxification processes, where defects in the enzyme cause a severe infant disease leading to early death with no efficient or cost-effective therapy in sight. Interjections and Pragmatic Errors in Dubbing

This paper consists of an analysis of the expressive secondary interjections found in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral and their equivalents in the Spanish and Catalan dubbed versions. The contrastive analysis of the interjections in the original English version compared with the Spanish and the Catalan dubbed versions shows that the strategies followed by the translators are different: literal translation is far more frequent in Spanish than in Catalan. Literal translation often implies an error that is pragmatic in nature since it derives from the misunderstanding of the pragmatic meaning that the interjection conveys.
