Everyone who acquires a new language at school or elsewhere has the right to learn good pronunciation. As phonetic errors are foreseeable, this paper begins by delineating deviations in (co)articulation and prosody which are typical of Italian learners of German, with the aim of examining how far these specific, predictable phonetic problems are treated in German textbooks used in Italy. The study shows that even modern textbooks do not consider phonetics in a satisfactory way. Associations of Children’s Close Reading Distance and Time Spent Indoors with Myopia, Based on Parental Questionnaire

Purpose: To study the association of parents’ reports about their children’s near work and outdoor habits with myopia in their children. Methods: Data from a questionnaire study conducted in 1983 among Finnish schoolchildren were reanalyzed. Vision screening had been performed for all the schoolchildren (n = 4961) in the 1st, 5th, and 8th grades (7-, 11-, and 15-year-olds) in an area of Central Finland. Esta tesis doctoral analiza el feedback correctivo en una clase plurilingüe desde una perspectiva CLIL. El objetivo de este estudio es examinar el feedback que tiende a ser utilizado cuando se corrigen los errores orales en clase comparando diferentes asignaturas, todas ellas impartidas en lengua inglesa. Para ello se analiza la relación entre tipos de feedback y tipos de errores en diferentes asignaturas. Lo que se intenta averiguar es qué estrategias normalmente se eligen para corregir, qué tipo de error es el más frecuente y si hay alguna relación entre tipo de error, el feedback utilizado y la asignatura. Angļu valodas centralizētais eksāmens 12. klasei sastāv no atsevišķām sadaļām katras valodas prasmes pārbaudei, bet rakstīšanas daļa sevī ietver vairāku prasmju pārbaudi. Rakstīšana un gramatika ir cieši saistītas. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir reģistrēt un klasificēt 12. klases skolēnu pieļautās gramatiskās kļūdas 2014. un 2015. gada centralizēto angļu valodas eksāmenu esejās. Diskursa analīze ir galvenā šī darba pētījuma metode. Pētījuma ietvaros tika analizētas simts esejas un noteiktas tajās esošās biežākās gramatiskās kļūdas un to cēloņi. Pētījuma rezultāti rāda, ka visbiežāk pieļautās gramatiskās kļūdas ir nepareizs artikulu lietojums, lietvārda un darbības vārda saskaņošana un nepareiza vārd…
