Pētījuma problēmas būtība un mērķis ir rast skaidrību par to kāds ir klostera institūcijas teoloģiskais pamatojums Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskajā Baznīcā (LELB). Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka klostera institūcija ir ne tikai teoloģiski, bet arī starpdisciplināri – vēsturiski, psiholoģiski, socioloģiski, kā arī no reliģijpētniecības skatu punkta, pamatojama. Darba tēzes apstiprinājums par to, ka šāda institūcija ir pamatojama attiecīgās Baznīcas praksē un likumdošanā, balstās uz Baznīcai nozīmīgu dokumentu un rakstu studijām, iekļaujot salīdzinošo analīzi ar esošo situāciju LELB periodikas un ziņu portālu atspoguļojumiem un intervijām.

Life-space assessment incorporates all movements in terms of the distance from home, the frequency of movement and the need of assistance for movement. Executive function (EF) is an important higher order cognitive ability that controls and guides people’s goal-directed actions. We examined the cross-sectional and longitudinal associations between EF and life-space mobility, and investigated if perceived walking difficulties, lower extremity performance, and transportation difficulties explain the association. Darbā apskatīta V. Maldoņa dzīve un paveiktais sabiedriskais darbs līdz 1909. gadam, kad viņš kļuva par praktizējošu mācītāju. Objectives This paper introduces a new diagnostically oriented screening scale for anxiety disorders, the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Anxiety scale (CESA), designed in parallel to the revised Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale (CESD-R). In this study, the CESA was used as a diagnostic screening tool for detecting the presence of anxiety disorder symptomatology ascertained by a clinical psychiatric evaluation based on the DSM-5 criteria. Amb motiu del canvi de metodologia docent que s’exigeix amb la imminent implantació del EEES, s’ha pretès, en la mesura que siga possible, crear un entorn d’aprenentatge on els alumnes se sentires còmodes i tranquils i, s’implicaren de forma activa en el seu procés d’aprenentatge. Al canviar el rol de l’alumne era necessari canviar, també, el rol del professor, que passa a ser avaluador no només de coneixements, sinó també de destreses i capacitats que són, en última instància, les que li van a permetre sobreviure en el món professional.

Increasingly more leisure facilities, such as water parks or indoor swimming pools are being built in Poland nowadays. In order to ensure the air quality required by standards for such leisure facilities it is necessary to fit them with effectively functioning ventilation. For the removal of excess humidity, as well as chlorine ions occurring as a result of the disinfection of water as well as the carbon dioxide emitted by people using the facility, the ventilation system needs to be appropriately designed and efficient.
