Women’s teaching in the Roman Hispania: Guess unfounded

In Mérida remains a nice funerary stela dedicated to a young girl. For many years the interpretation was that it means a dedication of a teacher to her disciple and therefore a unique example of women teaching in Hispania was imposed. Although this view is still ruled today remains in various studies that false belief. The reality is that there is no evidence that women, except of certain situations associated with the formation of the slaves, developed an educational activity in Rome. This circumstance remained with the triumph of Christianity. Hispania was no exception in the Roman world.

The chapter describes an umbrella concept, proximity violence, of which violence against women is only one manifestation. Of this phenomenon , the author endeavoured to highlight the patterns that make defining its material contours and specifying the tesserae that compose it difficult. In fact cultural factors, contingent situations became entangled with concrete elements of pain and abuse of the victims. It was, therefore, a matter of betting, on the possibility of representing a phenomenon by devising a bridge between theories of gender-based violence and the “thing” – the violence of those who are not strangers and in whom, for different reasons, we trust. Reliability of adapted version of Italian Label tobacco Impact Index for the adolescent: ALII

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to assess the reliability of the Adolescent Label Impact Index (ALII) , it is an adolescent adapted version of Italian LII of the tobacco products warnings. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A sample including students aged 13-15 years was considered. The ALII is constructed by 4 items: salience, harm, quitting and forgo. The questionnaire was self-administered to study participants twice with 3 days between each administration (T1 and T2) to measure reliability. This article scrutinizes the conceptual history of international anarchy. The argument purported here is that even though the idea of international anarchy is often seen as very central for the academic discipline of international relations, the concept is in fact not found from the forerunners or classics of the discipline. The assumption of international anarchy is commonly seen as a defining feature of a Realist school of international relations. This paper focuses on the study of the role of women and its representation in the images of the textbooks of Environmental Knowledge and Social Sciences subjects, specifically in History topics. Textbooks can give us an overview of how women are presented in the historical discourse carried from Primary Education, and through their analysis we can see if it has or not an androcentric bias. Therefrom it’s developed an analysis and a comparison of the data between volumes of both last education laws implemented in Spain (LOE and LOMCE).
