Transpupillare Thermotherapie (TTT) zur Behandlung von Aderhautmetastasen

Die transpupillare Thermotherapie (TTT) wird erfolgreich zur Behandlung kleiner Aderhautmelanome am hinteren Augenpol eingesetzt [9, 13, 14]. Wir berichten uber die erfolgreiche Behandlung von Aderhautmetastasen mittels TTT unter intravenoser Gabe von Indozyaningrun (ICG). Bei 3 Patienten mit systemisch metastasierenden Karzinomen (Osophagus-, Bronchial- und Mamma-Ca) wurden Aderhautfiliae in 4 Augen mit jeweils einer Sitzung TTT behandelt. Verwendet wurde ein Diodenlaser (810 nm) und Spotgrose 2–3 mm. Purpose: Analysis of the sentinel lymph node (SLN) in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients was proposed for more accurate staging and tailored lymphadenectomy. The aim of this study was to assess the ability to predict lymph node (LN) involvement through analysis of the SLN with a one-step nucleic acid (OSNA) technique in combination with peritumoral injection of indocyanine green (ICG) and near-infrared (NIR) lymphangiography in CRC patients. Background: Long-term follow-up and angiographic findings of serpiginous choroiditis, a chronic disease with recurrences of unknown origin, are reported. Patients and Methods: A retrospective analysis of the data of 4 patients with serpiginous choroidopathy, who were treated in the eye clinic of Mainz in the past 10-18 years was made. Progression of disease was documented by photography, as well as fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography. Patients with acute lesions were treated with steroids per os for some weeks. Cross-Linked Thiazolidine Network as Support for Palladium: A New Catalyst for Suzuki and Heck Reactions

A thiazolidine-based material was used for the first time as support for palladium. The support was prepared by starting from a highly cross-linked thiazolium-based material, obtained by radical oligomerization of a bisvinylthiazolium dibromide salt in the presence of 3-mercaptopropyl-modified silica SBA-15. Palladium was immobilized by treatment with tetrachloropalladate salt. Reduction with sodium borohydride afforded a thiazolidine-based material that acted as ligands for the Pd species. The Roadmap to Finnish Open Science and Research

2015

Finland published its open science roadmap at the end of November 2014. This roadmap is based on the work of the Open Science and Research Initiative (ATT), a cross-administrative initiative established by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The goal of this initiative is to promote open science and availability of information. Exploration of recent developments of open access in the EU shows that Finland is not among the leading countries in the EU. This paper focuses on the practical action plan of this roadmap and describes how the weakest part of Finnish open science, green open access is to be lifted at international top level.
