Explaining the Formation Rates of Post-Communist Interest Organizations: Density Dependence and Political Opportunity Structure

This article presents an analysis of the formation of organized interest groups in the post-communist context and organizational populations over time. We test two theories that shed doubt on whether vital rates of interest groups are explained by individual incentives, namely, the political opportunity structure and population ecology theory. En aquest treball es descriu una experiència pedagògica consistent en la introducció del *portafolio com a eina d'aprenentatge i avaluació en un curs universitari de traducció. La descripció es basa en dades arreplegades durant dos anys i en els resultats d'un qüestionari administrat als participants. Després d'una breu contextualització de l'experiència i la reflexió sobre els aspectes més rellevants del *portafolio per a l'ensenyament de la traducció, específicament en la universitat, s'ofereix una descripció exhaustiva dels efectes positius de la utilització de l'instrument en el curs. El treball acaba amb una valoració de l'experiència per part dels participants.

The pandemic crisis has accelerated the diffusion of learning environments characterized by the intensive use of technology. This novelty represents a transversal objective of the professionalization of the university teacher with a particular declination on the pedagogical-didactic-evaluation side as a strategic issue for the development of higher education. This paper presents the results of research conducted with 119 newly recruited university teachers and 20 Department Directors. The aim of the research was on the one hand to detect the perception of newly hired teachers related to their teaching metacognitive and evaluative skills with reference to distance learning to highlight specific characteristics that could have encouraged or hindered adaptation to this new condition. On the other hand through the qualitative research the aim has been to penetrate in depth the challenges posed by the digital revolution at University by carrying out 20 interviews with privileged witnesses who represent on the national scene agents of institutional change.
