Several samples of polymeric micelles, formed by amphiphilic derivatives of PHEA, obtained by grafting into polymeric backbone of PEGs and/or hexadecylamine groups (PHEA-PEG-C(16) and PHEA-C(16)) and containing different amount of Tamoxifen, were prepared. All Tamoxifen-loaded polymeric micelles showed to increase drug water solubility. TEM studies provided evidence of the formation of supramolecular core/shell architectures containing drug, in the nanoscopic range and with spherical shape. El carcinoma endometrial (CE) en mujeres jóvenes es un hecho infrecuente, tan solo el 4% de los diagnósticos se realizan en menores de 40 años. El estándar para el tratamiento es la cirugía con una supervivencia global a 5 años en torno al 93%. Como alternativa, en casos en los que existe un gran deseo genésico, se puede plantear un tratamiento conservador alternativo basado en progestágenos orales, fundamentalmente acetato de medroxiprogesterona o acetato de megestrol y más recientemente, DIU de levonorgestrel. PATIENTS AND METHODS PACT was a prospective, multicenter, randomized, open, parallel-group study assessing whether educational materials (EMs) enhanced compliance with aromatase inhibitor (AI) therapy in postmenopausal women with early, hormone-receptor-positive (HR+) breast cancer.
