Objective: The results of numerous empirical studies have showed the occurrence of so-called unrealistic optimism. Thus, we aimed to investigate whether in the situation of an imminent coronavirus pandemic, people would still perceive themselves as being less exposed to the disease than others. Methods: Survey studies were conducted to examine the level of unrealistic optimism. Participants (n = 171, 67.3% of women) in a subjective way judged the risk of their coronavirus infection and the likelihood that this would happen to an average student of the same sex from their class. Enhanced field-of-view integral imaging display using multi-Köhler illumination.

A common drawback in 3D integral imaging displays is the appearance of pseudoimages beyond the viewing angle. These pseudoimages appear when the light rays coming from each elemental image are not passing through the corresponding microlens, and a set of barriers must be used to avoid this flipping effect. We present a pure optical arrangement based on Köhler illumination to generate these barriers thus avoiding the pseudoimages. The proposed system does not use additional lenses to project the elemental images, so no optical aberrations are introduced. Lämpösähköisen materiaalin lämmönjohtavuuden määrittäminen matalissa lämpötiloissa käyttäen 3ω-menetelmää

Työssä tutkittiin mittausmenetelmää lämmönjohtavuuden määrittämiseen mata- lissa lämpötiloissa. Mittaukset perustuivat 3ω menetelmään, joka on alunperin ohut- kalvoille kehitetty menetelmä lämmönjohtavuuden mittaukseen. Menetelmässä läm- mitinlangan läpi kulkeva vaihtovirta synnyttää kolminkertaisella taajudella olevan jännitteen, jonka avulla saadaan tietoa kappaleen termisistä ominaisuuksista. Mit- tauksissa kultainen lämmitinlanka höyrystettiin Kapton kalvon päälle ja tämän päälle hyvin ohut alumiinioksidikerros. Mittaukset suoritettiin pulssituubijäähdyttimeen ra- kennetussa näytteenpitimessä. Laitteiston toiminta varmistettiin huoneenlämpötilas- sa borosilikaatti- ja Kapton näytteillä.…
