Korostunut häpeän tunne liittyy olennaisesti niin mielenterveysongelmiin kuin psykiatriseen hoitotyöhön. Erityisesti mielisairaalaan joutuminen on monelle häpeällinen kokemus, josta on vaikeaa puhua. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastelen mielisairaalakokemuksiin liittyvää häpeää  psykiatristen sairaaloiden potilaiden, omaisten ja henkilökunnan kirjoittamien muistojen valossa. Analysoin muistelijoiden kuvaamia häpeän kokemuksia kuvaten  häpeän kerronnallista rakentumista muistoissa. Pohdin mitkä tekijät ovat lisänneet, mitkä puolestaan helpottaneet mielisairaalakokemuksiin liittyvää häpeää. Objectives To evaluate the main symptoms of knee osteoarthritis (OA) and tissue structure changes after a single dose bone marrow–derived mononuclear cell (BM MNC) intra articular injection. Case series study. Patients with knee OA Kellgren Lawrence (K-L) grade II and III received 1 injection of BM MNC. The clinical results were analyzed with the Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) and Knee Society Score (KSS) before, 3, 6, and 12 months after injection. Little is known about the relationships of clinical findings in the low back with low back pain (LBP) in the normal working population. We studied whether physiotherapist's findings in the low back were associated with local and radiating LBP among a cohort (n=902) of employees in the engineering industry. A systematic non-proportional sample was drawn in strata by age, gender, and occupational class. The non-proportionality aimed at increasing sample size in smaller strata. Abstract Background Adalimumab and golimumab are effective in the treatment of moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. Aims We reported the comparative effectiveness of adalimumab and golimumab in ulcerative colitis. Methods 118 patients treated with adalimumab and 79 treated with golimumab were included and evaluated at 8 weeks and at the end of follow up. Results Overall clinical benefit was 72.6% at 8 weeks and 58.9% at the end of follow up. Patients with longer disease duration and those treated with adalimumab had a better outcome. Background: The purpose of our study was to analyze kinematic parameters following pilon fracture treatment with the Ilizarov method. Methods: Our study assessed kinematic parameters of gait in 23 patients with pilon fractures treated with the Ilizarov method. Patients had completed their treatment 24–48 months prior to measurements. The range-of-motion values in the non-operated limb (NOL) and operated limb (OL) were compared. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan Jyväskylän yliopiston opiskelijoiden käsityksiä kahden Jyväskylässä toimivan vaatemyymälän taustamusiikista ja taustamusiikin sopivuudesta myymälän yleisimagoon. Tutkimuksessa selvitetään, miten hyvin opiskelijat osaavat arvioida sitä, minkälaista musiikkia myymälöissä soi, ja miten myymälän taustamusiikki sopii myymälän yleisimagoon. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan erityisopiskelijoiden osallistumista äänellisen ilmaisun keinoin keskusteluun ja musiikilliseen yhteistoimintaan. Teoreettisia viitekehyksiä ovat konstruktivistinen ja pragmaattinen lähestymistapa sekä oppimiseen että vuorovaikutukseen. Pedagoginen viitekehys on yhteistoiminnallinen oppiminen osallistavana työskentelytapana. Tutkimuksessa pyritään selvittämään, lisääkö yhteistoiminnan musiikillisuus erityisopiskelijoiden osallistumista. Aineisto kerättiin etnografisella menetelmällä ammatillisessa erityisoppilaitoksessa tutkijan osallistumalla toimintaan opettajan roolissa.
