Age of Information Based URLLC-enabled UAV Wireless Communications System

This paper considers an unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) communication network, where UAV operate as an aerial mobile relay between a source and a destination of the network. To capture the “timelines” of the received information at the destination node, a new performance metric named age of information (AoI) is considered. In addition, a short packet communication scheme maintains low latency in the proposed UAV wireless communication system. Creaky voice and utterance fluency measures in predicting perceived fluency and oral proficiency of spontaneous L2 Finnish

While utterance fluency measures are often studied in rela tion to perceived L2 fluency and proficiency, the effect of creaky voice remains ignored. However, creaky voice is frequent in a number of languages, including Finnish, where it serves as a cue for phrase-boundaries and turn-taking. In this study we inves tigate the roles of creaky voice and utterance fluency measures in predicting fluency and proficiency ratings of spontaneous L2 Finnish (F2) speech. In so doing, 16 expert raters participated in assessing narrative spontaneous speech samples from 160 learn ers of Finnish. Uztvertais stress un tā pārvarēšanas stratēģijas bezdarbniekiem

Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot to kā bezdarbnieki uztver stresu un kādas stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģijas tiek pielietotas tā pārvarēšanas procesā. Pētījumā kopā piedalījās 103 respondenti no kuriem 22 bija vīrieši un 81 bija sieviete. Respondentu vecums bija robežās no 18 līdz 61 gada vecumam. Par instrumentāriju pētījumam tika izmantota uztvertā stresa skala (Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) (Cohen, Kamarck & Memelstein, 1983), kas ir tikusi adaptēta latviešu valodā (Stokenberga, 2008) un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja, adaptēta latviešu valodā (Petrova, 2009) (The Coping Orientation of Problem Experience / COPE/ Inventory, Carven, Scheier, & Weintraub, 1989). Il caso seguente indagato è di particolare importanza perché riguarda l'applicazione di strategie di intervento, facenti parte di un approccio multidisciplinare volto a trovare un modo per "sfruttare" le antiche meraviglie di Pompei, attraverso l'uso della luce. Le esperienze progettuali e le sperimentazioni sono state effettuate con la Soprintendenza Archeologica di Pompei.
