In several short stories, Sean O'Faolain ponders over the complexity of love relationships and tries to unveil some of the unconscious motivations underlying them. This essay focuses on three of these short stories, namely "There's a Birdie in the Cage", "Discord" and "An Inside Outside Complex", and shows how, in each of them, the fissures or cracks in love relationships are figuratively represented by an isotopy of windows, the various qualities of which are artfully exploited by O'Faolain (the window as partition between contiguous spaces, as transparent filter, as surface or frame). Drip irrigation is widely promoted in Spain to increase agricultural production and to save water. In the Cànyoles watershed, Valencia, we analysed the consequences of change from surface irrigation to drip irrigation over the past 25 years. Stanowią one jednak analogi strukturalne porfiryn, które naturalnie występują w przyrodzie, m.in. w takich cząsteczkach jak witamina B12 czy chlorofil. Obszerne badania dotyczące kompleksów ftalocyjanin wynikają z budowy tych związków, ponieważ cząsteczkę ftalocyjaniny można modyfikować na bardzo wiele sposobów. The target area of my research is the history of the theatre in the last decades of the 19th and the first decades of the 20th centuries. I am trying to reveal what kind of theatre existed on the fringes of the world of theatre, because in the first decades of the 20th century several artists tried to follow the new European trends and to make use of their results. I wish to present this process through the careers of two actors: Irén Feld and Artúr Bárdos. Besides these experiments I wish to deal with theatre in the country. Pētījumā piedalījās 113 respondenti, sievietes vecumā no 18 līdz 35 gadi, vidējais vecums izlasē bija 26,5 gadi. Photoluminescence properties of S2 molecule trapped in Melanophlogite

We studied the photoluminescence properties of a sample of SiO2-clathrate Melanophlogite, a crystalline microporous material which is found in nature as a rare mineral. Upon β irradiation, the material displays an intense light emission under near-UV illumination. We studied in detail this optical activity by steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence measurements as a function of temperature.
