Measuring and Supporting Pre-Service Teachers’ Self-Efficacy Towards Computers, Teaching, and Technology Integration

This paper reports on two studies designed to examine pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy beliefs. Study I investigated the measurement properties of a self-efficacy beliefs questionnaire comprising scales for computer self-efficacy, teacher self-efficacy, and self-efficacy towards technology integration. In Study I, 200 pre-service teachers completed the self-efficacy questionnaire. Confirmatory factor analyses resulted in a modified measurement model consisting of the three hypothesized self-efficacy scales. The aim of the present study was to test hypotheses of the trans-contextual model. We predicted relations between perceived autonomy support, autonomous motivation toward mathematics learning activities in an educational context, autonomous motivation toward mathematics homework in an out-of-school context, social-cognitive variables and intentions for future engagement in mathematics homework, and mathematics homework outcomes. Il contributo degli autori mira alla definizione di una tipologia innovativa di turismo basata sulla centralità dell'interazione umana nel rapporto tra viaggiatore ed ospitante. Nel saggio è presente la descrizione della situazione siciliana nel quadro delle trasformazioni dello scenario economico e sociale del Mediterraneo. Il turismo relazionale integrato viene declinato come un modo di analizzare e valorizzare il turismo sostenibile di piccola dimensione che può essere diffuso nei territori deboli come una nuova forma di presidio umano contro l'abbandono e quindi contro il degrado ambientale.
