Purpose We report our experience with a novel surgical device for the treatment of lumbar degenerative microinstability. Facet Wedge (DePuy Synthes, Raynham, Massachusetts, United States) is a novel technique of intra-articular lumbar facet fixation that provides a minimally invasive alternative to standard posterior fixation. Materials and Methods From November 2014 to July 2015, 38 patients underwent single-level Facet Wedge implantation. It has been previously reported that 8701-BC cells, derived from a primary carcinoma of the breast, constitutively express parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHrP) gene and that N-terminal PTHrP immunoreactivity can be found in cell medium. Here we have firstly measured immunoreactive PTHrP in 8701-BC cell medium using antibodies raised against midregion and C-terminal fragments, and also demonstrated the expression of PTH/PTHrP receptor by 8701-BC cells. New insight on metal finds of the Punic Ship of Lilibeum

In this paper, the investigation of some finds (two nails, a head and a long shaft nail, and a fragment of Lead sheathing) belonging to the wreck of the Punic ship and exhibited at Museo Archeologico Regionale Lilibeo (Trapani, Italy), is reported. The X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF) allowed us to identify the elements constituting them making some discussion deductions about their composition and degradation occurred.
