En Bourgogne, près de 8 900 jeunes ont quitté le lycée ou l'apprentissage en juin 2011. Sept mois plus tard, 58 pour cent des garçons et 48 pour cent des filles ont trouvé un emploi non aidé. Les effets de la crise économique perdurent avec le tiers des jeunes au chômage. A l'issue d'un contrat d'apprentissage, les garçons connaissent des situations professionnelles plus favorables que les sortants de l'an passé. Due to the impact of cities to energy consumption, the involvement of the local authorities in environmental policies is rapidly increasing. The Covenant of Mayors (CoM), launched by the European Commission, is an urban initiative aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. The signatories have to compile the greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) balance of their territory and, to do so, they can use the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) or the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). En este artículo se describe el diseño y los resultados obtenidos con una estrategia didáctica innovadora para el aprendizaje de la Estadística Actuarial en la licenciatura de Ciencias Actuariales y Financieras de la Universidad de Málaga. Mediante un uso intensivo de actividades no presenciales y elementos tecnológicos que favorecen el aprendizaje en movilidad se pretende potenciar el aprendizaje autónomo, colaborativo y contextualizado. Para ello se han diseñado, entre otras, actividades de identificación y asimilación de competencias, un laboratorio virtual de supervivencia basado en un simulador gráfico interactivo y un microportal para dispositivos iPhone y iPod touch de Apple.
SmartARP: merging IP and MAC addressing for low-cost gigabit Ethernet networks

Abstract Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is one of the key TCP/IP stack protocols, used on LANs to map 32 bit IP addresses into 48 bit hardware addresses. Regular ARP uses MAC layer broadcasts to perform the mapping. In this paper a new server-based ARP extension (smartARP) is proposed, which allows the extension of ARP functionality beyond a single MAC layer broadcast domain. Compared to regular IP router, smartARP together with simple broadcast-filtering switches presents a low-cost alternative for forwarding packets between MAC layer broadcast domains. SmartARP is transparent to existing IP hosts, operates independent of LAN speed, and scales for big networks.

Il contributo affronta il tema dell'apporto del pensiero medico antico, in particolare della medicina ippocratica, alle concezioni fiorite tra VI e V secolo in tema di fecondazione e generazione umana con specifico riferimento alla teorizzazione in materia del filosofo Parmenide. Accogliendo in larga parte le teorie, per altro diffuse anche in ambito non specificamente medico, sulla generazione basate sull'affermazione del principio dell'esistenza di un seme sia maschile che femminile, i medici ippocratici hanno optato per una concezione della generazione in cui l'apporto della madre non è considerato inferiore a quello del padre.
