Kaupo kā svešā un savējā tēla piemērs mentalitātes vēsturē

Bakalaura darbā „Kaupo kā svešā un savējā tēla piemērs mentalitētes vēsturē” tiek aplūkota Latvijas teritorijas iedzīvotāju un atnācēju no Rietumeiropas mentalitāšu mijiedarbība 13. gadsimtā. Uz līvu valdnieka Kaupo piemēra tiek analizēts, kuru atnācēji uztvera kā savējo, bet kuru – kā svešo. Tiek parādīts, kā Kaupo tika vērtēts kā kristietis, karotājs, valdnieks. Kā avoti tika izmantotas divas 13. gadsimta hronikas – „Indriķa hronika” und „Atskaņu hronika”. Darbā ir aplūkots arī, kā Kaupo tēls ticis izmantots daiļliteratūrā, sākot ar G. Merķeli un beidzot ar mūsdienu autoriem.

Dalį Ilūkstės apskrities lenkų ir lietuvių karinės pajėgos okupavo 1919 m. vasarą. Lenkų valdžios įstaigos nedelsdamos įtraukė 6 apskrities rytinės dalies valsčius ir Gryvos miestą į savo valstybės sudėtį ir atsisakė svarstyti šį klausimą su Latvijos atstovais. Klausimas buvo išspręstas tiktai 1920 m. liepos pradžioje, kai dėl Raudonosios armijos puolimo lenkų kariuomenė buvo priversta pasitraukti iš Ilūkstės apskrities. Tuo pasinaudojo Latvijos pusė, tuo momentu pagal savo galimybes užimdami dalį tos teritorijos. Likusią užėmė lietuviai, kurie jau nuo 1919 m. vasaros buvo rūpimoje Ilūkstės apskrities dalyje. The Black Block : Opaque Page as a Graphic Device

The black block, a rectangle of black printing ink on the page of a book, surrounded by blank margins, is a peculiar graphic device. Its literary tradition has usually been considered to start from Tristram Shandy, which includes a renowned black page in memory of “poor Yorick”. Nevertheless, Sterne’s gimmick can be seen as an allusion to an older typographical tradition of the so-called mourning pages, which were featured in books remembering the departed decades before Tristram Shandy. A new species of Brassica sect. Brassica (Brassicaceae) from Sicily

Among the suffruticose cabbages of Brassica sect. Brassica, a new species from Sicily, named B. raimondoi, is described and illustrated. It is a chasmophyte restricted to some steep limestone cliffs near Taormina (NE Sicily) and is morphologically related to B. incana, with which it shares densely hairy, broad, amplexicaul leaves and winged petioles, but differs principally in its white corolla, larger floral pieces, more developed stigmatic papillae, shorter siliquae with keeled valves and a smaller, seedless beak, smaller seeds differing in testa microsculpture. A key for the identification of the currently known Sicilian taxa of the section is provided.
