Desempleo y crisis Económica. Los casos de España e Italia
2018

A Multiple Surrogate Assisted Decomposition Based Evolutionary Algorithm for Expensive Multi/Many-Objective Optimization
2019
Many-objective optimization problems (MaOPs) contain four or more conflicting objectives to be optimized. A number of efficient decomposition-based evolutionary algorithms have been developed in the recent years to solve them. However, computationally expensive MaOPs have been scarcely investigated. Typically, surrogate-assisted methods have been used in the literature to tackle computationally expensive problems, but such studies have largely focused on problems with 1–3 objectives. In this paper, we present an approach called hybrid surrogate-assisted many-objective evolutionary algorithm to solve computationally expensive MaOPs. The key features of the approach include: 1) the use of mul…
Intranazāla metformīna efekti uz sporādiskās Alcheimera slimības tipa modeļa žurku telpisko atmiņu un neironu izdzīvošanu
2022
Pētījumā tika izmantota Apmierinātības ar dzīvi aptauja (The Satisfaction With Life Scale), Pitsburgas Miega Kvalitātes aptauja (The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, PSQI) un Miega higiēnas aptauja (Sleep Hygiene Index, SHI).
2013
The international migration is an economic and political matter. Infact, economic and political is its history, that began with the dawn of capitalism, which by definition requires the free mobility of the workforce, but also needs to subject it to strict controls not to let it become elusive as it is free to move. To understand the racist abuses that accompany the migration policies in Europe and Italy, it is necessary to focus on certain elements that could be examined closely. It concerns the history of the capitalist economy and the relationships between the advanced capitalist countries and those from which the migrants move. In this speech we intend to show how there is a precise rela…

Search for Electron Antineutrino Appearance in a Long-baseline Muon Antineutrino Beam
2020
Electron antineutrino appearance is measured by the T2K experiment in an accelerator-produced antineutrino beam, using additional neutrino beam operation to constrain parameters of the Pontecorvo-Maki-Nakagawa-Sakata (PMNS) mixing matrix. T2K observes 15 candidate electron antineutrino events with a background expectation of 9.3 events. Including information from the kinematic distribution of observed events, the hypothesis of no electron antineutrino appearance is disfavored with a significance of 2.40 σ and no discrepancy between data and PMNS predictions is found. A complementary analysis that introduces an additional free parameter which allows non-PMNS values of electron neutrino and a…
Osteogenic differentiation of periodontal fibroblasts is dependent on the strength of mechanical strain
2012
Abstract Objective During orthodontic therapy the correct strength of mechanical strain plays a key role for bone remodelling during tooth movement. Aim of this study was to investigate the osteogenic differentiation of human periodontal ligament fibroblasts (HPdLF) depending on the applied strength of mechanical strain compared to osteoblasts (HOB). Design HPdLF and HOB were loaded with different strengths (1%, 5% and 10%) of static mechanical strain (SMS) for 12 h in vitro. Viability was verified by MTT and apoptosis by TUNEL assay. Gene expression of cyclin D1, collagen type-1 (COL-I), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin, osteoprotegerin (OPG) and receptor activator of the NF-κB liga…
Cells of extramammary Paget's disease express cytokeratins different from those of epidermal cells.
1985
The patterns of expression of cytokeratin polypeptides which are closely correlated to routes of differentiation of epithelial cells were studied in extramammary Paget's disease. Cytokeratins of uninvolved and involved epidermis were analyzed by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis of microdissected tissue preparations as well as by immunofluorescence microscopy using cytokeratin antibodies with different specificities. In uninvolved epidermis, cytokeratins Nos. 1, 5, 6, 10, 11, 14, and 16, characteristic of keratinocytes, were found. Epidermis infiltrated by Paget's cells contained the same components and, in addition, cytokeratins Nos. 7, 8, 18, and 19, the latter being characteristic of s…
