Cloning and characterization of a cDNA coding forCandida albicanspolyubiquitin

Immunoscreening of a Candida albicans cDNA library in the expression vector lambda gt11 with rabbit polyclonal antibodies against the 37 kDa cell surface laminin receptor of C albicans resulted in the isolation of a cDNA clone of 0.9 kb. Sequencing of this clone demonstrated a full length open reading frame encoding the polyubiquitin, which contains three tandem copies, head-to-tail spacerless repeats, of the 228 nucleotides coding for the 76 amino acids of the ubiquitin protein, which is identical to that of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The International Severe Acute Respiratory and Emerging Infection Consortium (ISARIC) COVID-19 dataset is one of the largest international databases of prospectively collected clinical data on people hospitalized with COVID-19. This dataset was compiled during the COVID-19 pandemic by a network of hospitals that collect data using the ISARIC-World Health Organization Clinical Characterization Protocol and data tools. The database includes data from more than 705,000 patients, collected in more than 60 countries and 1,500 centres worldwide. A novel approach to integration by parts reduction

2015

Integration by parts reduction is a standard component of most modern multi-loop calculations in quantum field theory. We present a novel strategy constructed to overcome the limitations of currently available reduction programs based on Laporta's algorithm. The key idea is to construct algebraic identities from numerical samples obtained from reductions over finite fields. We expect the method to be highly amenable to parallelization, show a low memory footprint during the reduction step, and allow for significantly better run-times.

Large-scale compression of genomic sequence databases with the Burrows-Wheeler transform

Motivation The Burrows-Wheeler transform (BWT) is the foundation of many algorithms for compression and indexing of text data, but the cost of computing the BWT of very large string collections has prevented these techniques from being widely applied to the large sets of sequences often encountered as the outcome of DNA sequencing experiments. Avoiding strange attractors in efficient parametric families of iterative methods for solving nonlinear problems

[EN] Searching zeros of nonlinear functions often employs iterative procedures. In this paper, we construct several families of iterative methods with memory from one without memory, that is, we have increased the order of convergence without adding new functional evaluations. The main aim of this manuscript yields in the advantage that the use of real multidimensional dynamics gives us to decide among the different classes designed and, afterwards, to select its most stable members. Altered splicing pattern of TACC1 mRNA in gastric cancer

Abstract Transforming acidic coiled-coil ( TACC ) proteins are centrosome and microtubule-associated proteins that are essential for mitotic spindle function. We identified TACC1 as an immunogenic protein and a potential tumor antigen by applying serological identification of antigens by recombinant expression cloning (SEREX) technique to screen a gastric cancer cDNA library. The faculties of the humanities of the newly established University of Latvia had to create their libraries from the ground up, as opposed to the technical libraries who had partly preserved the stocks from the departments of the predecessor, the RPI. Books for the library of the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy were obtained through governmental allocations, purchases, and donations, and so it grew from 350 books in 1919 to more than 40 thousand in 1939. This article explores the first years of the formation of library holdings.
