A class of nilpotent Lie algebras admitting a compact subgroup of automorphisms

Abstract The realification of the ( 2 n + 1 ) -dimensional complex Heisenberg Lie algebra is a ( 4 n + 2 ) -dimensional real nilpotent Lie algebra with a 2-dimensional commutator ideal coinciding with the centre, and admitting the compact algebra sp ( n ) of derivations. We investigate, in general, whether a real nilpotent Lie algebra with 2-dimensional commutator ideal coinciding with the centre admits a compact Lie algebra of derivations. This also gives us the occasion to revisit a series of classic results, with the expressed aim of attracting the interest of a broader audience.
A candidate for a noncompact quantum group

A previous letter (Bidegain, F. and Pinczon, G:Lett. Math. Phys.33 (1995), 231–240) established that the star-product approach of a quantum group introduced by Bonneau et al. can be extended to a connected locally compact semisimple real Lie group. The aim of the present Letter is to give an example of what a noncompact quantum group could be. From half of the discrete series ofSL(2,\(\mathbb{R}\)), a new type of quantum group is explicitly constructed.
Automorphism groups of some affine and finite type Artin groups

We observe that, for fixed n ≥ 3, each of the Artin groups of finite type An, Bn = Cn, and affine type ˜ An−1 and ˜ Cn−1 is a central extension of a finite index subgroup of the mapping class group of the (n + 2)-punctured sphere. (The centre is trivial in the affine case and infinite cyclic in the finite type cases). Using results of Ivanov and Korkmaz on abstract commensurators of surface mapping class groups we are able to determine the automorphism groups of each member of these four infinite families of Artin groups. Drošības pārbaužu veikšana atbilstoši ASVS standartam

Bakalaura darbā ir aprakstīta autora veiktā drošības pārbaude divām Latvijā izmantotām sistēmām. Sistēmu drošības pārbaudi darba autors veica atbilstoši drošības standarta ASVS prasībām. Ievainojamību atklāšanai tika pielietoti manuāli ielaušanās testi un automatizēti ievainojamību meklēšanas rīki. Papildus darbā ir veikta ASVS struktūras izpēte un analizētas standarta satura izmaiņas starp versijām. Prasību pārbaudes izpildi izdevās daļēji automatizēt, taču autors atklāja, ka automatizēto rīku sniegtie rezultāti bija neprecīzi, un iegūto rezultātu pielietošanai bija nepieciešama manuāla verifikācija. The periods of the generalized Jacobian of a complex elliptic curve

Abstract We show that the toroidal Lie group G = ℂ2/Λ, where Λ is the lattice generated by (1, 0), (0, 1) and (τ̂, τ͂), with τ̂ ∉ ℝ, is isomorphic to the generalized Jacobian JL of the complex elliptic curve C with modulus τ̂, defined by any divisor class L ≡ (M) + (N) of C fulfilling M − N = [℘ (τ͂) : ℘´(τ͂) : 1] ∈ C. This follows from an apparently new relation between the Weierstrass sigma and elliptic functions.
High order normal form construction near the elliptic orbit of the Sitnikov problem

We consider the Sitnikov problem; from the equations of motion we derive the approximate Hamiltonian flow. Then, we introduce suitable action–angle variables in order to construct a high order normal form of the Hamiltonian. We introduce Birkhoff Cartesian coordinates near the elliptic orbit and we analyze the behavior of the remainder of the normal form. Finally, we derive a kind of local stability estimate in the vicinity of the periodic orbit for exponentially long times using the normal form up to 40th order in Cartesian coordinates.

Darba mērķis ir blokķēdes tehnoloģijas un tās potenciālo pielietojuma iespēju izpēte. Darba ietvaros tika veikta blokķēdes tehnoloģijas un šajā sfērā esošo vadošo tehnoloģisko risinājumu apskate, eksistējošo tehnoloģijas ierobežojumu un iespēju analīze. Papildus tika veikta padziļinātāka Ethereum blokķēdes platformas apskate, jo pēc veiktās izpētes, tā tika izvirzīts par mūsdienu blokķēdes sfērā esošo tehnoloģisko līderi. Pēc iegūto izpētes rezultātu analīzes darba praktiskajā daļā tika veikta uz Ethereum balstītas decentralizētas lietojumprogrammas prototipa un tā pamatā esošā viedā līguma izstrāde, kas tehniski veic automatizētu auto stāvlaukumu nomas realizāciju.

This research aims to focus the attention on the concept of "legitimation lie" in order to break the silence surrounding it and to shed light on an organizational phenomenon that is not as rare as what we could believe. Specifically, it provides an explanation of how some entrepreneurs succeed in acquiring initial legitimacy for their small and new businesses through lies.
