Session-RPE for quantifying load of different youth taekwondo training sessions.

BACKGROUND: The session rating of perceived exertion (session-RPE) proved to be a valuable method to quantify the internal training load (ITL) in taekwondo. However, no study validated this method in youth taekwondo athletes performing different training sessions. Thus this study aimed at evaluating the reliability of the session-RPE to monitor the ITL of prepubescent taekwondo athletes during pre-competitive (PC) and competitive (C) training sessions. Caunu (Martes spp.) barošanās paradumu un citu faktoru ietekme uz helmintofaunu un to raksturojošajiem parametriem Latvijā un Lietuvā

Caunas ir savvaļas rezervuāri zoonotiskām un veterināri nozīmīgām parazītu sugām, barošanās paradumu izpēte sniedz informāciju par iespējamiem parazītu invadēšanās ceļiem. Materiāli pētījumam ievākti Latvijas un Lietuvas reģionos laikaposmā no oktobra līdz aprīlim. Lai veiktu barības analīzi, izmeklēti 144 caunu kuņģi. Konstatētie barības objekti iedalīti 14 lielās kategorijās, zīdītāju taksoni noteikti pēc akotmatu struktūras. Kursa darba ietvaros 150 caunas helmintofaunas noteikšanai izmeklētas ar Skrjabina pilnās helmintoloģiskās sekcijas metodi. Vienšūnas parazītam Toxoplasma gondii par starpsaimnieku var kļūt jebkuras siltasiņu dzīvnieku sugas pārstāvis - arī meža un akmeņu caunas. Laikā no 2011.gada līdz 2014.gadam Latvijas un Lietuvas teritorijā tika ievākti 186 meža un akmeņu caunu muskulatūras paraugi, lai noteiktu T. gondii izplatību, sastopamību un to ietekmējošos faktorus. Kopējā konstatētā T. gondii invāzijas ekstensitāte caunās ir 65,1%. Būtiski augstāka T. gondii ekstensitāte konstatēta meža caunās (67,8%), salīdzinot ar akmeņu caunās konstatēto (52,9%). The general topic of my philosophical dissertation is phenomenological ontology of breathing. I do not investigate the phenomenon of breathing as a natural scientific problem, but as a philosophical question. Within our tradition, breathing has been normally understood as a mechanistic-materialistic physiological life-sustaining process of gas exchange and cellular respiration which does not really seem to have any essential connection to human being’s spiritual, mental or philosophical capacities.
