Forum polsko - niemieckie powołane do życia w 1976 roku stało się płaszczyzną rozmów i konsultacji bilateralnych. Po wprowadzeniu stanu wojennego jego prace zawieszono. Z uwagi na znaczenie Forum podjęto, zarówno w PRL, jak i w RFN, wiele działań mających na celu zniwelowanie niekorzystnych wypowiedzi stojących na przeszkodzie przywróceniu jego prac. The «Vita Barbati» and the «Passio Sanctorum Septem Dormientium» are two hagiographical texts of the Early Middle Ages. Particularly, the «Passio Sanctorum Septem Dormientium» tells a story who had a great circulation through the Middle Ages, from Gregory of Tours to Paul the Deacon and Jacob of Varagine. In this paper the Author can attempt to explain the literary qualities of these two texts (tipology, style, language, "descriptiones personarum", use of the "cursus" and rhetoric topics), trying to demonstrate how hagiographical texts too have often a literary interest, together with its historic and religious significance.

Catalan fiction in the 15th century is framed within the context of the expansion of the Crown of Aragon around the Mediterranean, the emergence of Valencia as the cultural capital of the Crown, the crisis in the prevailing mediaeval values, the consolidation of a monetary economy, and fertile contacts between Catalan culture and Castile, France, Burgundy and especially Italy. In this paper atomic decomposition theorems of martingales are considered. In particular, three atomic decomposition theorems for Lorentz martingale spacesHs p,q, Qp,q andDp,q, where 0 < p < 1, and 0 < q 1, are proved. As a consequence of these decompositions, the authors obtain a sufficient condition for a sublinear operator T, defined on the previous Lorentz martingale spaces Hs p,q, Qp,q and Dp,q and taking values in Lorentz spaces Lr, to be bounded. Also, a restricted weak-type interpolation theorem is established.
