The possibilities of characterizing the heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) by liquid chromatography electrospray mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-MS) and matrix-assisted laser desorption with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) were investigated. Introduction. Spanish media have covered several cases of violence in same-sex couples in recent years. Reporting on this phenomenon raises questions about how to approach a reality that had remained hidden until recently. Method. The aim of this article is to analyse the content of the news stories about same-sex domestic violence published by various Spanish newspapers between 2010 and 2015. Results. The results indicate that, while journalists have improved the treatment of gender-based violence, the news coverage of violence in gay couples exhibits similar features to those that characterised the news coverage of violence against women during the early years. El grupo de investigación ScienceFlows ha llevado a cabo numerosos estudios sobre los discursos que se difunden a través de los medios de comunicación y de las redes sociales, que han permitido identificar cuál es la construcción mediática de la salud. Así, se ha identificado el tono de las informaciones (favorables, desfavorable, neutro); se ha cuantificado el volumen de información publicada en los diarios digitales; se ha estudiado cómo se producen los accesos a Internet por parte de los usuarios para solicitar información; y se han analizado los vídeos que se suben a YouTube sobre temas de salud.
The political irruption of short video: Is TikTok a new window for Spanish parties?

This paper analyses the use of TikTok by the main Spanish parties. The article studies the intensity of use of the short video social network by the accounts of the Partido Popular, Vox, Podemos and Ciudadanos, their narratives and themes, and the views obtained based on them. The research applies a content analysis to the videos published by these groups from account creation until the end of 2020, a period in which the PSOE had no presence. The corpus amounts to 182 units of analysis.
