This paper presents an analysis of the intervention dose-effect of the Parent Child Psychological Support Program© (Cerezo 1990) a program aimed at promoting protective adaptive system in children which is offered to all new-borns in a given catchment area. The program offers support to parents during the first 18 months of the baby's life. The program dose-effect is examined regarding the parents by examining the level of distress reported by them and with babies by examining the development of attachment using the Strange Situation test of Ainsworth et al. My focus of research is in three countries’ institutions: national parliaments of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Se ofrece el perfil de la mujer que ha sufrido malos tratos, a partir de un estudio con 297 mujeres que reciben ayudas sociales por parte del Ayuntamiento de Valencia. La incidencia del maltrato en este grupo es del 37,3%. El perfil de estas mujeres, en comparación con las mujeres del mismo grupo que no han recibido malos tratos se caracteriza por ser de etnia paya, estructura familiar monoparental, estado civil separada, con varias relaciones de pareja previas y con problemas de salud psicológica.
