Integrals and selections of multifunctions with values in an arbitrary banach space

In this note we will address some recent as well as classical results on multivalued integrals for multifunctions taking values in the hyperspace of convex weakly compact subsets of a general Banach space. In particular the existence of selections integrable in the same sense of the corresponding multifunctions will be considered.

Relations among Gauge and Pettis integrals for cwk(X)-valued multifunctions

The aim of this paper is to study relationships among "gauge integrals" (Henstock, Mc Shane, Birkhoff) and Pettis integral of multifunctions whose values are weakly compact and convex subsets of a general Banach space, not necessarily separable. For this purpose we prove the existence of variationally Henstock integrable selections for variationally Henstock integrable multifunctions. Using this and other known results concerning the existence of selections integrable in the same sense as the corresponding multifunctions, we obtain three decomposition theorems. Multifunctions determined by integrable functions

Integral properties of multifunctions determined by vector valued functions are presented. Such multifunctions quite often serve as examples and counterexamples. In particular it can be observed that the properties of being integrable in the sense of Bochner, McShane or Birkhoff can be transferred to the generated multifunction while Henstock integrability does not guarantee it.

Set valued integrability in non separable Fréchet spaces and applications

AbstractWe focus on measurability and integrability for set valued functions in non-necessarily separable Fréchet spaces. We prove some properties concerning the equivalence between different classes of measurable multifunctions. We also provide useful characterizations of Pettis set-valued integrability in the announced framework. Finally, we indicate applications to Volterra integral inclusions.

Agriculture in a Sicilian inland area: Strategies and motivations of conversion towards multifunctional activities

The main topic of the paper concerns multifunctional farms, their activities and motivations for starting up, and on the other hand visitor satisfaction. To this purpose, a preliminary sample survey was carried out addressed to 13 farms in 3 Sicilian provinces. The aim was to identify positive and negative aspects of the services offered. Wet electrospinning-aided self-assembly of multifunctional GO-CNT@PCL core-shell nanocomposites with spider leg bioinspired hierarchical architectures

We report a fast route enabling the multiscale design of nanohybrid structures comprising a 3D fibrous network of polycaprolactone (PCL) wrapped by graphene oxide (GO) sheets onto which carbon nanotube (CNT) brushes are anchored. The method relies on electrospinning PCL solutions onto a suspension of GO and CNTs in ethanol. Self-assembly is due to electrostatic wrapping of GO sheets around PCL fibers and 7C-7C stacking between GO and CNTs.
