Non-Hermitian Hamiltonians in Quantum Physics

2016

This volume collects the selected contributions presented at or inspired by the15th International Workshop on Pseuso-Hermitian Hamiltonians in QuantumPhysics(PHHQP15), held in Palermo, Italy, from May 18 to 23, 2015. Thisworkshop was the 15th in the series of international meetings that was started in2003. These meetings were mainly attended by mathematicians and physicistsinterested in the study of non-Hermitian operators and Hamiltonians, and in theirphysical applications. About 80 mathematicians and physicists attended the 2015Workshop in Palermo.

INTELLI 2013, The Second International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Applications

2013

The research of optimization techniques in the system of goods distribution from warehouses to final users (vehicle routing problem), made considerable savings on the total cost of transport and, consequently, on the final cost of goods, and produced the models applicable to other operating environments (e.g., transport for disabled people, school, municipal waste collection). The analysis conducted on the different models developed under the VRP highlights the support that these models can give on the infomobility of goods.

DALL'IMMAGINE ALLA PAROLA. LA FOTOGRAFIA COME MEDIAZIONE DEL PENSIERO IN GRUPPI DI OPERATORI DI COMUNITÀ

2011

Ques…

On Problems Driven by the (p(·) , q(·)) -Laplace Operator

2020

The aim of this paper is to prove the existence of at least one nontrivial weak solution for equations involving the (p(· ) , q(· ) ) -Laplace operator. The approach is variational and based on the critical point theory.

Colombeau Algebras and convolutions generated by self-adjoint operators

2017

The role of convolution of functions in the construction of Colombeau algebras of generalized functions is analyzed, with particular referring to the commutative relation with the derivation operator. The possibility to consider the A-convolution, with A an unbounded self-adjoint operator in Hilbert space, is discussed. K

MR3058477 Reviewed Ereú, Thomás; Sánchez, José L.; Merentes, Nelson; Wróbel, Małgorzata Uniformly continuous set-valued composition operators in the …

2011

In this paper it is established a property of a composition operator between spaces of functions of bounded variation in the sense of Schramm. Let X and Y be two real normed spaces, C a convex cone in X and I a closed bounded interval of the real line. Moreover let cc(Y) be the family of all non-empty closed convex and compact subsets of Y. The authors study the Nemytskij (composition) operator (HF)(t)=h(t,F(t)), where F: I \rightarrow C and h: I\times C \rightarrow cc(Y) is a given set-valued function. They show that if the Nemytskij operator $H$ is uniformly continuous and maps the space \Phi BV (I;C) of functions (from I to C) of bounded \Phi-variation in the sense of Schramm into the sp…

MR2449047 (2009j:47108) Chermisi, Milena; Martellotti, Anna Fixed point theorems for middle point linear operators in $L^1$. Fixed Point Theory Appl.…

2009

In the paper under review the notion of middle point operator is introduced. The authors prove that for a given nonempty, bounded, $\rho$-closed, convex subset K of L1(μ), where $\rho$ is the metric of the convergence locally in measure, if T from (K, $\rho$) to(K, $\rho$) is a continuous, $\rho$-nonexpansive, middle point linear operator, then T has at least one fixed point in K. To prove the theorem they use results of A. V. Bukhvalov [in Operator theory in function spaces and Banach lattices, 95–112, Birkh¨auser, Basel, 1995; MR1322501 (95m:46123)] and M. Furi and A. Vignoli [Atti Accad. Naz. Lincei Rend. Cl. Sci. Fis. Mat. Natur. (8) 48 (1970), 195–198; MR0279792 (43 #5513)]. Then they …
