Los Falcó : a Family of Painters in 16th-century Valencia

A partir del análisis de la documentación publicada y de una aportación importante de noticias inéditas, se realiza el estudio de los Falcó, la familia de pintores valencianos del siglo xvi. Se establece la única existencia de tres pintores y su cronología clara, así como un análisis de sus obras principales, centrándose especialmente en la figura de Nicolás Falcó (activo entre 1493 y 1530) y su hijo Onofre Falcó (activo entre 1536 y 1560), insistiendo en la personalidad de éste último, que era la más confusa.

Petro-archaeological research on Gallo-Roman lime mortars is based on a simple analytical methodology: observations with optical microscopy in transmission, which brings us a maximum of data about the material and the various stages of the “chaîne opératoire”. To explore the conceptions of patients with persistent low back pain (LBP) of undergoing physiotherapy delivered in Finnish primary healthcare by physiotherapists who had participated in brief training in Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT). As part of a feasibility implementation study exploring CFT in management of LBP in the Finnish primary healthcare system, we interviewed nine patients from four geographical areas in Finland after receiving care. Chronic pain affects the whole person--a phenomenological study.

The aim of this qualitative study was to explore participants' perspectives on the effects of chronic pain on the psychophysical unity.Thirty-four chronic pain outpatients were interviewed, and the transcribed interviews were analysed with Giorgi's four-phase phenomenological method. The mean age of the participants was 48 years, and 19 of them were women. For 21 of the participants, the pain duration was more than 5 years, and most had degenerative spinal pain.The results of this whole research project indicated that the phenomenon chronic pain consisted of four essential themes: Pain affects the whole person, invisibility, negativity, and dominance of pain. Nesen tika ieviesta adduktoru kanāla blokāde (AKB) kā selektīva sensorā fasciālā analgēzijas metode, tomēr ir pierādījumi, ka tā nenodrošina efektīvu analgēziju ceļa mugurējās kapsulas daļā, tādēļ to kombinē ar citām blokādēm.
