Quite often fantastic literature has been studied using ideas from theoretical physics in order to verify how the development of the latter modifies the reader's perception of the former. Instead, this article proposes the opposite: this article will explore theoretical physics using the ideas from the fantastic. The core principle here is that both reflect on the reality and fracture it, changing the reader's reality paradigm. While physics changes it from reality, using to it the principles of the mathematics, the fantastic does this using (and fracturing) a fictional space.

Eclecticism is a complex creative trend born as a consequence of both postmodernism and the heterodox treatment of cultural identity borders. This aesthetic path emerges as a compositional model of great communicative power in contemporary creation in the last two decades. Our essay addresses the Symphony V "American" (2003) by Leonardo Balada (1933) as a compositional paradigm. Through this article we demonstrate the importance of including popular sounds and re-signifying materials in the creative conception. A valid model of communication ahead of the challenges of globalization and mass media processes is therefore established hereby.

Despite the booming interest in determinants of green (i.e., sustainable) consumption, the psychological factors that influence pro-environmental consumption patterns are not yet fully understood. To answer this call, we developed and analysed a model that offers an integrative approach to sustainable consumption patterns by addressing the full palette of consumers’ personal value orientations. Background Since the release of the first global hepatitis elimination targets in 2016, and until the COVID-19 pandemic started in early 2020, many countries and territories were making progress toward hepatitis C virus (HCV) elimination. This study aims to evaluate HCV burden in 2020, and forecast HCV burden by 2030 given current trends. Methods This analysis includes a literature review, Delphi process, and mathematical modelling to estimate HCV prevalence (viraemic infection, defined as HCV RNA-positive cases) and the cascade of care among people of all ages (age =0 years from birth) for the period between Jan 1, 2015, and Dec 31, 2030.
