Researchers in social memory are bound in their work to include the relations occurring between the memory of local communities and the official historical policy of the State. AbstractThis work presents the Dauco carotae-Crepidetum rhoeadifoliae plant association, which is new to Poland. The association has been observed in industrial reclamation areas in the vicinity of carbonate mineral excavation sites in the central part of the Opole region. In the vast majority of cases, plots of this association developed in reclaimed areas. The majority of diagnostic species for the association was found within surveyed plots, including Verbascum thapsus, V. densiflorum and Bryum argenteum. Perception of Medical Humanities among Polish Medical Students: Qualitative Analysis

Medical humanities (MH) courses are a critical element of the medical curriculum influencing the establishment of a physician in the medical profession. However, the opinion about MH among medical students remains unknown. Interviews from seven focus groups were analysed. The students attended one of three Polish medical schools in Gdansk, Krakow, and Warsaw and were recruited to the discussion focused on the impact of drug manufacturers’ presence at medical universities on socialization in the medical profession. Eastern part of Poland is unevenly examined according to distribution of terrestrial true-bugs. Among well studied zoogeographical regions (Wyżyna Lubelska, Beskid Wschodni, Roztocze), true-bugs fauna of others like Podlasie and Nizina Sandomierska is poorly documented. The paper presents new faunistic data on the occurrence of true-bugs Heteroptera in Eastern Poland. Localities were scattered in 17 UTM squares in five zoogeographical regions: Podlasie, Puszcza Białowieska, Wyżyna Lubelska, Nizina Sandomierska and Roztocze. Its advantage is a large variety. We find in the genealogical material and economic, excerpts from books municipal and earthly, worldly goods inventories, inventories of movable property, correspondence, and sources resulting from the functioning of the judiciary.
