After the Second World War Ryszard Zakrzewski (1913–1994) was a well-known exile political and social activist in Great Britain. In the late 1940s he became one of the leaders of the Polish Socialist Party in emigration. He was also active in the Polish Ex-Combatants’ Association and the Federation of Poles in Great Britain. In 1956, the intelligence of the Polish People’s Republic got interested in his person. Over the next few years Zakrzewski maintained contacts with intelligence officers, employed as diplomats at the Polish Embassy in London. Lindernia mułowa Lindernia procumbens (Krocker) Philcox jest rośliną roczną, pojawiającą się w lipcu, kwitnie i owocuje w sierpniu, kończy rozwój późną jesienią wraz z pierwszymi przymrozkami. W Polsce występuje ona bardzo rzadko na rozproszonych stanowiskach, skupionych głównie w dorzeczu górnej i środkowej Odry oraz w dorzeczu górnej Wisły, w miejscach wilgotnych, mulistych lub piaszczystych, na brzegach obu rzek i ich starorzeczy, a także na dnie wysychających stawów hodowlanych, w zbiorowiskach namułkowych z klasy Isoëto-Nanojuncetea. Nowe stanowisko tego gatunku stwierdzono w 2015 roku na dnie wyschniętego stawu hodowlanego w Gąsiorowicach koło Strzelec Opolskich na Śląsku Opolskim
O śląsko-małopolskich sporach granicznych w okresie międzywojennym

Celem artykułu jest próba przedstawienia relacji Górnego Śląska z Małopolską i Krakowem w okresie międzywojennym. Relacje te rozwijały się na kilku płaszczyznach: gospodarczej, społecznej, kulturowej. Socjalistyczne państwo ludowe przez lata prowadziło szeroką siatkę agenturalną, obejmując kontrolą realnych, potencjalnych i wyimaginowanych przeciwników systemu. W sposób szczególny inwigilowano pasterzy Kościoła, których, razem z innymi duchownymi, uważano za główną siłę antysocjalistyczną w PRL. Utricularietum neglectae Th. Müller et Görs 1960 w Słowińskim Parku Narodowym

Na terenie Słowińskiego Parku Narodowego nowe stanowisko Utricularietum neglectae stwierdzono podczas badań geobotanicznych w 2014 r. w dystroficznym zbiorniku wodnym torfianka Wielkie Bagno, na wschód od miejscowości Gać (54°69’19,67’’ N, 17°50’96,11’’ E). Zbiorowisko to zostało po raz pierwszy stwierdzone w Badeni-Württembergi w Niemczech w bagnistych dołach i miejscach po wydobytym torfie. W Polsce należy do bardzo rzadko notowanych zbiorowisk. W Słowińskim Parku Narodowym płaty tego zespołu wykształciły się w miejscach zacisznych i osłoniętych od wiatru, w wodzie o głębokości 20 – 130 cm, o pH 6,5 – 6,7 na podłożu mulistym lub z dużą ilością torfu. Background Systematic collection of mortality/morbidity data over time is crucial for monitoring trends in population health, developing health policies, assessing the impact of health programs. In Poland, a comprehensive analysis describing trends in disease burden for major conditions has never been published. The Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study (GBD) provides data on the burden of over 300 diseases in 195 countries since 1990.
