Urban and environmental regeneration is now a priority on a planetary level, and the climate neutrality objectives set by Brussels inevitably require a new green and sustainable design of cities and a total revision of human behaviour in relation to nature. The role of regional competitiveness in shaping the heterogeneous impact of the Great Recession

This paper assesses the employment resilience of 202 European regions to the Great Recession by investigating the role of regional competitiveness. By using the regional shift component derived from a multiple bases shift–share analysis of employment change as a measure of regional endogenous employment growth, we show that pre‐crisis regional competitiveness determinants are associated with positive performances during the crisis period. However, the variables considered explain well the different vulnerability of the economies, but less convincingly the ability to recover. The essay concerns the involvement of Regional Legislators in the implementation of National Recovery and Resilience Plan («Piano nazionale di ripresa e resilienza»), considering regulatory simplification measures programmed by the Plan. In this perspective, it proposes a comparison between the Plan and the Italian Simplification Agenda 2020-2023 and it examines the framework of regional regulatory simplification measures.

Maģistra darba "Skolotāju dzīvesspēka veicināšana palikšanai profesijā" mērķis ir izpētīt, kā dzīvesspēks var veicināt skolotāju palikšanu profesijā. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi, ir veikts fenomenoloģiskais pētījums. Datu ieguvei tiek izmantota anketa skolotājiem (Dzīvesspēka aptauja pieaugušajiem Resilience Scale for Adults), lai noteiktu viņu dzīvesspēku un atlasītu kandidātus intervijai. Mental Skills of an Athlete as a Resource of Professional Longevity in Sport

The aim of the study was to assess associations between dimensions of mental skills, psychological readiness and predictors of career longevity among current athletes. Mental skills dimensions were measured with the Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool (OMSAT). The psychological predictors of athletic career longevity were measured with the Athletic Coping Skills Scale-28 (the ACSI-28) producing scores for seven coping skills and with the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 (CSAI-2) which produced scores for confidence in competition.
