The aim of this study is to clarify the influence of the CEO, the top management team and their interactions on the dynamism of organisational ambidexterity. We argue that ambidexterity is a dynamic capability that enables firms to become aligned with their environment. When needs suddenly exceed demand worldwide, resources may quickly become scarce with potential demand, so that strict rationing is the only viable response. Against this backdrop, this chapter scrutinizes the rationales for the prioritization of scarce resources. It questions the essential role and reaches the market concerning resources essential to delivering health care, especially in severe shortages, such as during a global pandemic.
Regulating Internet Trade in CITES Species

International trade in species that are or may be endangered by collection from the wild is regulated under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of wild fauna and flora (CITES) for 176 member States (Parties). Internet commerce is a relatively new route for such trade. In 2007, the CITES Secretariat asked Parties to collect information on internet wildlife trade and report problems and implemented regulations.
