In spite of the impressive number of adolescents using social media, only a minority is aware of the risks associated with the use of the Internet. Hate speech, violation of personal rights, psychological attacks, deceiving people with fake accounts, as well as cyberbullying, harassment and insults are some examples of toxic content that can jeopardize adolescent well-being on the Web. Contaminant Intrusion through Leaks in Water Distribution System: Experimental Analysis

Abstract This paper presents the results of experimental tests on the intrusion of contaminant through pipe cracks in water distribution network resulting from low/negative pressures. The tests were carried out on a looped distribution network at the University of Enna and were performed first producing a pressure transient that causes negative pressures then reproducing intermittent supply. A soluble contaminant was added to the water volume in the network through a pipe crack. Sampling of water volume was carried out in two nodes of the network and the contaminant concentrations were measured. Goodwill appears as an intangible asset in the parent company balance sheet after purchasing a company, especially with big expectations of growth and synergy. However, there are ethical issues involved in presenting and accounting for goodwill. For example, if the manager pays too much for a company in the hubris of closing a deal in order to obtain his/her bonuses, the excess amount paid can currently be “hidden” into the parent company balance sheet under the name of goodwill. Ievads. Trimetilamīna-N-oksīds (TMAO) ir jauns kardiovaskulārā riska marķieris, kura metabolisms un riska asociācijas mehānismi ir neskaidri. Ir zināms, ka TMAO līmenis ir augstāks pacientiem ar 2. tipa cukura diabētu, bet tā saistība ar metabolisko sindromu (MS) ir maz pētīta. Mērķis. Noskaidrot, vai pastāv TMAO līmeņa saistība ar MS pacientiem ar paaugstinātu kardiovaskulāro risku. Metodes.
