El món de la pilota i la ruralitat

La pilota valenciana és considerada un tret cultural característic del poble valencià, un signe d’identitat que, internament, concita una rara i gojosa unanimitat com a element cultural propi i distintiu. Sovint s’ha presentat com una conseqüència de la ruralitat que explicaría la seua pervivència plurisecular. Per què s’associa el joc de la pilota al món rural? Per què la pilota concita una rara unanimitat? Aquest article tracta de respondre aqueixes qüestions, partint d’una suposició inicial: l’adscripció de la pilota i dels pilotaris, al món rural és una interpretació equívoca.

Sicilian territory vocation to the production of wines is a prerequisite needed to ensure a large variety of high quality products. Thanks to native cultivar and to non-native, with good adaptability, Sicilian wine firms diversified production, very appreciated by national and international markets, and expanded the supply of sparkling wines. Indeed, Sicily produces sparkling wines since the past century and now there are 21 Sicilian wineries that produce up to 33 different high quality sparkling wines with typical attributes of the territory and many denomination of origin (DOC). riassunto — Le mummie moderne e il signifcato recondito della doppia sepoltura nelle culture mediterranee moderne sono da tempo ampiamente dibattuti. In questo lavoro si discute di una particolare “collezione” di corpi di ecclesiastici, mummifcati ed esposti in un comune montano madonita della Sicilia, Gangi. I corpi, principalmente risalenti al XIX secolo, mummifcati per colatura come nella tradizione del tempo e vestiti degli abiti talari, sono esposti nel piano sottostante della Chiesa Madre, in quella che nella tradizione è detta la “fossa dei parrini” (fossa dei preti).
