[ES] In 1428 the painter Jaume Mateu, who was trained in the workshop of the international Gothic master of Valencia, Pere Nicolau, painted an altarpiece dedicated to San Blas for the jurist Juan Gomez from Villar del Cobo. The parish church of this town still retains some paintings that belong to an old Gothic altarpiece with scenes of San Sebastián, San Fabián, San Jorge and a Crucifixion. This study analyzes the style of the preserved works and places them in the circle of the Valencian painter documented in Villar.
Estimation of Mediterranean crops evapotranspiration by means of remote-sensing based models

Abstract. Actual evapotranspiration from typical Mediterranean crops has been assessed in a Sicilian study area by using Surface Energy Balance and Agro-Hydrological models. Both modelling approaches require remotely sensed data to estimate evapotranspiration fluxes in a spatially distributed way. The first approach exploits visible (VIS), near-infrared (NIR) and thermal (TIR) observations to solve the surface energy balance equation. This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the project for the residential complex "Patrizia" in Pavia by Alvar Aalto (1966-1968). Although not realized, for political and economic reasons, the project offers an interesting example of urban planning in an “organic key”. In particular, this paper aims to contextualize the project of Aalto in the broader context of the residential building in Italy after World War II, when the problems of reconstruction and "home" are the heart of the debate on architecture. Background A variety of genodermatoses with multiple cutaneous tumors with germline genetic alterations such as Gorlin syndrome with PTCH1 gene mutations have been described. Other cutaneous syndromes have been associated with somatic gene mutations, such as FGFR3 in familial seborrhoeic keratosis. Objective We describe the clinical, dermoscopic, and histopathological features of multiple cutaneous lesions, mostly infundibulocystic basal cell carcinomas and pure reticulated acanthomas, present in a family affected by familial seborrhoeic keratosis. Il corale matalizio "Vom Himmel hoch da komm ich her" (Dall'alto dei cieli io giungo) è stato realizzato da Martin Lutero sulla base della melodia popolare "Ich komm aus fremden Landen her" e fu pubblicato per la prima volta a Wittenberg nel 1535. Assai diffuso in tutta l'area culturale tedesca, questo brano è stato ripreso, tra gli altri, anche da J.S. Bach, sia nel "Weinachts-Oratorium" BWV 248 che nelle "Canonische Veraenderungen" per organo BWV 796 e 796a.
