Summary Pancreatic malignant exocrine tumors represent the most important cause of cancer-related death for pancreatic neoplasms. The most common tumor type in this category is represented by pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), an ill defined, stroma-rich, scirrhous neoplasm with glandular differentiation. Here we present the relevant characteristics of the most important PDAC variants, namely adenosquamous carcinoma, colloid carcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma with osteoclast-like giant cells, signet ring carcinoma, medullary carcinoma and hepatoid carcinoma. Abstract In the current study, we have performed ab initio DFT calculations on the gradually growing 2D periodic models of capped single-wall carbon nanotubes (SW CNTs) upon their perpendicular junctions with the Ni(111) substrate, in order to understand the peculiarities of the initial stage of their growth on either smooth or nanostructured catalytic particles. In the last few lustrums, the literature has searched for more precise methods to assess the socio-economic importance of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). On that basis, this article offers a new way of assessing the SSE impact, enhancing the understanding of the SSE potential for socio-economic transformation. An evolutionary micro–meso–macro and territorial theoretical framework is developed, utilizing, along with the assistance of a qualitative methodology, studies on the transformation promoted by the SSE on the sugar cane cluster of Veracruz (Mexico). Organiskie materiāli ir daudzsološi dažādiem moderniem pielietojumiem, tai skaitā optiski ierosinātiem organiskajiem cietvielu lāzeriem, kuriem vajadzīgi materiāli ar augstu pastiprināšanās koeficientu un zemām ierosmes enerģijām. Vairumā organisko sistēmu šie parametri ir limitēti krāsvielu molekulu kristalizācijas dēļ. Tādēļ savienojumi ar samazinātu kristalizēšanos būtu ļoti noderīgi. Šajā darbā tika pētītas plānās kārtiņas ar jauniem plaši zināmās krāsvielas DCM atvasinājumiem PVK polimēra matricā dažādās koncentrācijās.
