Control of Gastric Acid Secretion in Somatostatin Receptor 2 Deficient Mice: Shift from Endocrine/Paracrine to Neurocrine Pathways

The gastrin-enterochromaffin-like (ECL) cell-parietal cell axis is known to play an important role in the regulation of gastric acid secretion. Somatostatin, acting on somatostatin receptor type 2 (SSTR2), interferes with this axis by suppressing the activity of the gastrin cells, ECL cells, and parietal cells. Surprisingly, however, freely fed SSTR2 knockout mice seem to display normal circulating gastrin concentration and unchanged acid output. Tämän tutkielman tarkoitus oli tutkia ruotsi äidinkielenä opetusta lukion pakollisilla kursseilla Suomessa kirjallisten ja suullisten taitojen näkökulmista. Tarkoituksenani oli selvittää, mitä opettajat painottavat opetuksessa, millaisia tehtäviä, työskentelymenetelmiä ja työskentelytapoja he käyttävät. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin kyselylomakkeella, joka lähetettiin kahdelle opettajalle ruotsinkieliseen lukioon Suomessa. Materiaali analysoitiin kvalitatiivisena tapaustutkimuksena. Kyselyyn vastanneet opettajat pitivät tärkeimpänä kielen mukauttamista tekstityyppiin. He painottivat taitoa osata kirjoittaa erilaisia tekstejä. Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal (Indian ginseng, winter cherry, Solanaceae) is widely used in traditional medicine. Roots are either chewed or used to prepare beverages (aqueous decocts). The major secondary metabolites of Withania somnifera are the withanolides, which are C-28-steroidal lactone triterpenoids. Withania somnifera extracts exert chemopreventive and anticancer activities in vitro and in vivo.
