Unwanted mental intrusions (UMIs), typically discussed in relation to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), are highly prevalent, regardless of the specific nationality, religion, and/or cultural context. Studies have also shown that UMIs related to Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Illness anxiety/Hypochondriasis (IA-H), and Eating Disorders (EDs) are commonly experienced. We study isospin-1 P-wave ππ scattering in lattice QCD with two flavors of O(a) improved Wilson fermions. For pion masses ranging from mπ=265 MeV to mπ=437 MeV, we determine the energy spectrum in the center-of-mass frame and in three moving frames. We obtain the scattering phase shifts using Lüscher’s finite-volume quantization condition. Fitting the dependence of the phase shifts on the scattering momentum to a Breit-Wigner form allows us to determine the corresponding ρ mass mρ and gρππ coupling. AbstractThe influence of organic and inorganic compounds of tin on the dynamic properties of liposome membranes obtained in the process of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) sonication in distilled water was investigated. This was carried out by means of the spin ESR probe method. The probes were selected in such a way as to penetrate different areas of the membrane (a TEMPO probe, 5-DOXYL stearic acid, 16-DOXYL stearic acid). Four compounds of tin were chosen: three organic ones, (CH3)4Sn, (C2H5)4Sn and (C3H7)3SnCl, and one inorganic one, SnCl2. Pēdējos gados tiek pievērsta lielāka uzmanība savienojumiem, kuriem piemīt spēja mijiedarboties ar netipiskām DNS struktūrām – guanīna kvadrupleksiem. Šī pētījuma darba mērķis bija izpētīt triciklisko 1,4-dihidropiridīna atvasinājumu (PP-544-NH4, PP-544-Na, PP-150-Na un B-5-Na) spēju mijiedarboties ar telomēras guanīna antiparalēlām un hibrīdformas kvadrupleksiem, kā arī spēju mijiedarboties ar vienpavediena DNS formu. Rezultātu iegūšanai tika izmantotas spektroskopijas metodes. Lielākajai daļai savienojumu tika novērota mijiedarbība ar telomēru-guanīna kvadrupleksu antiparalēlo un hibrīda konformāciju, kā arī ar vienpavadiena DNS formu, tomēr ar dažadu intensitāti.
