[spa]La costa sur de la isla de Menorca se caracteriza por la presencia, de forma más o menos continua, de acantilados verticales cortados en los depósitos carbonatados que constituyen una plataforma atribuida al Mioceno superior. Los acantilados se encuentran interrumpidos en la zona litoral por una marcada incisión producida por los barrancos que drenan toda la plataforma miocena del sur de la isla y que, en su desembocadura al mar, dan lugar a las denominadas calas. This article studies the current role of geodemographic analysis in Spanish spatial planning; its importance, gaps and problems. This is done both from a theoretical and planning perspectives. The theoretical perspective studies the references to the population in the legal norm of the several forms of planning, and in particular in the very recent Autonomous Regions' laws. The planning perspective refers to the specific spatial plans that have been aproved. The article identifies three types of spatial planning: urban planning, town and country planning and environmental planning. Therefore, excluding the sectorial planning with spatial incidence.

Brachiopods from the Lower and Middle Cambrian of the Iberian Chains and Sierra Morena are described. The following taxa occur in the Iberian Chains: "Lingulella" sp., Redlichella cf. bohemica (Barrande), Dictyonina radioplicata sp. n., Micromitra sp., Trematobolus simplex (Vogel), Trematobolus borobiensis sp. n. and Jamesella sp. The taxa "Lingulella" sp. and Sibiria? sp. are reported from the Lower Cambrian of Sierra Morena. Brachiopods constitute several distinct associations: the relatively shallow water Trematobolus assemblage near the Lower-Middle Cambrian boundary interval is followed by the deeper DictyoninaRedlichella assemblage. This article aims to analyse the determinants of transport costs and to investigate their influence in international trade with a sample of disaggregate trade data. First, we estimate a transport-cost function using cross-section data on maritime and overland transport for four sectors: agro-industry, ceramic tiles, motor vehicle parts and accessories, and electrical and mechanical household appliances, obtained from interviews held with Spanish exporters and logistics operators in 2001. This paper deals with the phenomenon of the diffusion of small religious works of art, in particular the alabaster copies of the Madonna of Trapani, in the Mediterranean, between the second half of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and attempts to interpret this diffusion not only within the historical-artistic context but also from a religious, economic and social viewpoint.
