The Mediating Role of Orthorexia in the Relationship between Physical Activity and Fear of COVID-19 among University Students in Poland

Consumer-Generated Reviews on Social Media and Brand Relationship Outcomes in the Fast-Food Chain Industry
2017
A number of studies agree on the fact that social media users tend to trust more the contents created by other users than those generated by companies’ marketing departments or advertising agencies. However, little is known regarding whether social media can actually enhance brand trust and other brand relationship outcomes that are deemed critical to the hospitality marketing literature. This paper seeks to offer some important insight on this issue by examining the impact of consumer-generated reviews on social media on four main pillars of the relationship marketing paradigm, i.e., satisfaction, trust, commitment, and loyalty. The inter-relationship between brand outcomes is also examine…

Historical literacy and contradictory evidence in Finnish high school setting : The Bronzen Soldier of Tallinn
2016
This article revolves around three key issues. First, over the last 30 years, the traditional approach to history teaching as memorization of facts and chains of events has been changing. Currently, the Finnish national core curriculum fixes the focus of history teaching on students’ critical and historical thinking skills. However, the curriculum leaves a lot of maneuvering scope for schools and individual teachers, but teachers seemingly still emphasize content over skills with too little focus on historical thinking skills. Second, Finland has so far been lacking in research on students’ historical thinking skills, even if they have been adopted as an important part of the curriculum. Wh…
Koriģējoši attīstošā darbība sākumskolas skolēniem ar fonētiski fonemātiskiem traucējumiem
2015
Diplomdarbu „Koriģējoši attīstošā darbība sākumskolas skolēniem ar fonētiski fonemātiskiem traucējumiem” izstrādāja studiju programmas skolotājs – logopēds studente Ieva Liepiņa. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā koriģējoši attīstošā darbība ietekmē fonētiski fonemātiskos traucējumus sākumskolas skolēniem. Tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka koriģējoši attīstošā darbība sekmē fonētiski fonemātisko traucējumu novēršanu, ja ievēro skolēnu individuālās vecumposma likumsakarības un koriģējoši attīstošā darbība balstās uz noteiktām fonemātiskās uztveres traucējumu novēršanas metodēm. Pamatojoties uz teorētiskajām atziņām, diplomdarba autore izprot, ka fonētiski fonemātiskie traucējumi negatīvi ietekmē…

It covers the roles and the interactions of the professor and student in the following ways: (1) the historical situation, (2) the affective, social and bodily situation, and (3) the moral situation. This text analyzes women’s passion for philosophy as a quest for truth, as well as their partial alienation from the social practices of philosophy. The Causal Influence of Life Meaning on Weight and Shape Concerns in Women at Risk for Developing an Eating Disorder
2021
Background: Although previous studies have shown an inverse relation between life meaning and eating disorder symptoms, the correlational nature of this evidence precludes causal inferences. Therefore, this study used an experimental approach to test the causal impact of life meaning on individuals' weight and shape concerns. Methods: Female students at risk for developing an eating disorder (N = 128) were randomly assigned to the control or the meaning condition, which involved thinking about and committing to pursue intrinsically valued life goals. A color-naming interference task was used to assess the motivational salience of body-related stimuli, and self-report measures were used to as…
