Audible Steam Pops During Left Atrial Catheter AblationIntroduction Open irrigated radiofrequency (RF) ablation catheters with a porous tip (56 holes, TC-SF) permit delivering RF energy in a temperature-controlled mode without temperature rise. This prospective observational study investigated the association of different catheter parameters on the occurrence of audible steam pops during left atrial (LA) ablation. Methods and Results A total of 226 patients underwent TC-SF catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation. Abstract Purpose The aim of this study is to describe the University of Florence experience in evaluating clinical, pathologic and treatment factors as they are related to the outcome and loco-regional recurrence in patients with tubular breast carcinoma. Material and methods Three hundred and seven patients (median age 56.4 years, range 26–91 years) with histological verified tubular carcinoma of the breast were consecutively treated at University of Florence from 1976 to 2001. Un análisis detallado de los procedimientos de sustitución léxica realizado por el autor, apoyado en la consulta de los diccionarios bizantinos, permite reconocer su originalidad compositiva, la riqueza expresiva de su vocabulario poético, pero también la clara conciencia de la existencia de diferentes niveles de lengua y de los muy diversos registros utilizados por el autor.
