Komunikatīvo uzdevumu izmantošana modālo darbības vārdu mācīšanā augstskolā

Angļu valodas modālie darbības vārdi studentiem rada ievērojamas grūtības to gramatiskās un funkcionālās dažādības dēļ. Pētnieki un metodiķi uzsver uz konteksta bāzes veidotu komunikatīvo uzdevumu pielietojuma nozīmīgumu efektīvākai gramatisko formu, īpaši modālo darbības vārdu, apguvei un nostiprināšanai. Maģistra darba mērķis bija izpētīt komunikatīvo uzdevumu ietekmi modālo darbības vārdu apguvē un to pielietojumā reālās situācijās. Tika veikts kvazi eksperiments, kurš ietvēra divas aptaujas, pilot-nodarbības, kā arī studentu zināšanu pārbaudi testa veidā pirms eksperimenta un tā beigās. Scheduling independent stochastic tasks under deadline and budget constraints

This article discusses scheduling strategies for the problem of maximizing the expected number of tasks that can be executed on a cloud platform within a given budget and under a deadline constraint. The execution times of tasks follow independent and identically distributed probability laws. The main questions are how many processors to enroll and whether and when to interrupt tasks that have been executing for some time. We provide complexity results and an asymptotically optimal strategy for the problem instance with discrete probability distributions and without deadline. Comparing competing views of analogy making using eye-tracking technology

International audience; We used eye-tracking to study the time course of analogical reasoning in adults. We considered proportions of looking times and saccades. The main question was whether or not adults would follow the same search strategies for different types of analogical problems (Scene Analogies vs. Classical A:B:C:D vs a Scene version of A:B::C:D). We then compared these results to the predictions of various models of analogical reasoning. Results revealed a picture of common search patterns with local adaptations to the specifics of each paradigm in both looking-time duration and the number and types of saccades. This research is concerned with the implicit learning of regularities in continuous motor tasks (e.g., tracking tasks) and discrete tasks (e.g., Serial Reaction Time tasks). First, a reanalysis of Wulf and collaborator's studies, dealing with implicit motor learning, made it possible to highlight methodological problems and potential biases that provide alternative explanations for the apparent implicit learning obtained in their continuous tracking experiments. From OECD PISA Science test results presented in 2016 shows that in Latvia only 3,4% of students performance is in accordance to the 5th and 6th performance level (higher order cognitive skills (HOCS) measured), which is below OECD average. Maģistra darbs ir veltīts vispārīgo korpusu tekstu izmantošanai artikulu mācīšanas materiālu (uzdevumu un testu) izveidē. Šī darba mērķis bija iekļaut dažādu veidu un jomu vispārīgo korpusu tekstus artikulu mācīšanā un testēšanā augstskolā. Teoriju apskats atklāj, ka jau kopš 1960. gadiem ir veicināta uz tekstu korpusiem balstīto materiālu izveide angļu valodas mācīšanā, tomēr šo materiālu klāsts nav pietiekams. W artykule przedstawiono autorskie doświadczenia wykorzystania potencjału pedagogicznych pomiarów w celu udoskonalenia kształcenia przyszłych nauczycieli.
